When i first joined there were no such thing as 'muN00bs', GohanSSJ had not learnt the meaning of flame and hence didn't do it. It was a peacefull place, until they attacked. The mun00bs quickly flamed down the walls and converted some people to noobs. Then after years of fighting back the noobs, then came one ultimate noob, who ended the war of the noobs, his name was Cpt. James, Cpt of the 1337squad-nubs. The noobs smashed down the wall, and flooded into the muonline section, claiming nearly all the people. Me and some friends hid in a bunker then at night we fled to the outerworld section.

RaGEZONES History
How it all began

RaGEZONE was created in 2001 by a Welsh teenager by the name of Daniel James, during that time he was still in school and into numerous sports but intended the use of RaGEZONE to be a news related sport website. Numerous months later Daniel who became known as MentaL at a later stage had started to play a game which had been been just released in Europe called Legend of Mir 2. Shortly after his time playing the game he had made numerous friends and one which included a person who had obtained the files from the official ftp of WEMADE entertainemt (company who had developed the game) to run their own server.

It Has Begun

After obtaining the files, Daniel aka MentaL had decided to run his own public server for Legend of Mir dispite the possability of any lawsuit or issues between himself and the Game-Network company. The name ragezone became common with Legend of Mir players, as well did MentaL but sadly not for the good part. His ego took the better of him and he is known to be a bit of a trouble causer attacking what he refers to as rival servers, with DoS (Denial of Service) attacks in every attempt to 'be the best'. After five years there has been seven ragezone servers, not one of them lasted over a year, the failure on MentaLs part often making bad decisions. After the rise of Project69 (another private run server) in late 2002, ragezones userbase was somewhat diverted. Players were growing tired of MentaL and the instability of his servers and so many people began to play the better half of mir, known as Project69.

Project69 v's Ragezone

Project69 had a peaceful community and a neutral hard working younger administrator Andy, going by the name Scorpian who now studdies chemistry at Manchester Metropolitan University. Tension was rising as Project69s success was at ragezones suffering and with MentaLs ego run by his private servers he would not let it go out quietly. MentaL continued to attack Project69 with DoS attacks, the forum was no exception, he would 'recruit' members of his community to 'spam' Project69 forums in an attempt to discourage members. Scorpian however continued to run his server and ignored all of mentals attempts to close it down, this eventually led to the biggest community private server mir had ever seen, and to date Project69 has run the same server for over 3 and a half years and maintained its prize winning user count. Project69 even managed to attract some of the al thani brothers, Qatar's royal family who have supported Project69 through tough times and helped contribute good ideas toward the servers development.

The Threat

Everybody knew that private servers came into existance during the time RaGEZONE was around and the hosting company disliked this and saw it as a financial threat and had sent out a warning to remove the files or face criminal charges, later on the server was taken down but only to be brought back online and ignored all warnings from the Game-Network staff and set the standard to what is now known to be Legend of Mir.

Evolution of RaGEZONE
After a year of being online RaGEZONE had a reputation of being unique, they had managed to obtain more server files for games such as Mu Online which had brought them the current fame to this day and is now the largest English MMORPG server file developers in existance in the English language. RaGEZONE are responsible for the release of files including the previously mensioned Mu Online, Lineage 2, Myth of Soma, Chronos, Repent online and many many more (numerous files also where released by the chinese to which RaGEZONE had reintroduced to the english market, titles also include BombGame, Navyfield, A3 and lots more)

It Continues

RaGEZONE still operates to this day and the forum has numerous development sections for games such as World of Warcraft and new titles. Members contribute their work and release custom and official files through the forum and is visited by over 8000 unique MMORPG fans every day. RaGEZONE also includes off topic sections which are very popular among its users. Recently, RaGEZONE is regarded by users to be much more than a general MMORPG related website. RaGEZONE currently provides its own free IRC server and free Email Address to members and include subscriptions to unlock features via the forum.

But the thing is, you are member from January 2004 and I am a member from November 2004 so, how could you fought the mu noobs,before I do?

and today the fight still wages on...though now you have gotten a few squadrons of reinforcements but the burden of holding back mu noobs and all other assortment of noobs is one not to be taken lightly

We need some real weapons, i.e Atom Bombs, granades, spikes, swords, mazes, penises, whores, beds....ahm....shotguns....pistols....whores again.....cars....Porche.....rockets....what more?
