Help :)

kay, i've got over 400 bucks for my birthday, and i'd like to start a private server..
could someone help give me ideas, or suggestions on how i should get the ball rolling
I know a couple things
1) I want to host a Ragnarok Online Server
2) I want it to be able to hold (AT LEAST) 200 people
3) I need a good website/ account manager
4) After i toss in my money, i want to be able to get donations to keep it running
maybe by giving people that donate custom items or something along that line..

Good game hosting websites? Good web page builders? Ideas? Comments? questions?

it depends on the server emulator you are using as well because some are not user friendly

first...u can host by urself if ur comp ram is big enough...
and if u doesnt know how to set it i can help...
if u don know how to host i can teach...
requirement for hosting server...ram at least 700++mb for wont always lag like hell...
ur connection speed would be better if it is over 100mb/s
ur hard disk would be better if is over 30gb...i mean that doesnt used...
if u using a router i can teach u how to forward port lol...

You can host your site at hosting providers like me 8) .

100 MB Storage
3GB Bandwidth/Day

If you wouldn't mind telling me who this service provider is, it'd really help with my website.. once it's finished. Would they happen to accept Australian clients?

Man, you want to get donate, so you will have to spend alot of time + money for hosting, website and ad. You think your server will be better than other free server :-?

Lol, I use to host the server on my one and only home computer, and I kept it up as much as I can. People started joining for about half a year, and there were some 30 people on at the same time usually. Now this was because I hosted one of the few private RO servers back then using YARE lol. Anyways, after half a year, I started requesting donations and people donated little by little as I gave prizes in-game for donating. And eventually I got $800 CAD which I bought a server computer with and I ended up hosting a 24/7 dedicated server. I stopped when my ISP put a bandwidth on my connection cause I used it up in half a month :(

Anyways, there's my "success" story of not spending a lot of money to make money :) Also worth while to put Google Ads as I got $200 CAD within that year.

I am having Item Trouble. The description of my items are scambled up. Only the numbers are readible. I tried posting my own thread but it doesn't seem to be around here.
