Freya ftw.
eAthena is horribly bloated.
thank you boys...
now I can downloads freya and eathen and test it!!!
:)
freya, normally, it's fast or slow?? I've install it but it's very slow to startup...
it's normally?? I 've to configure some files for this problem??
Uhmmm... Wich Is The Best Choice 4 You nuke_spc???
Aethena? Or Freya?
Hmm....
---------------------------------
Eathena is the best emulator :)
---------------------------------
I like most eathena cause i cant understand freya.... -_-
eAthena is probably the most popular server out there... however, in my experience freya servers seamed to have less problems. Problems as in bugs popping up (losing money on logins, character server not saving, skills disappearing, just to name a few that have shown up on eathena servers I've played). However, if all you're looking for is a server for small scale private use amongst friends... might wanna check out Prometheus, its based off weiss and where all the devs of the old emulator I use to use for RO went to. Can't remember the name, they changed it like a dozen times but I really liked the software and enjoyed scripting up stuff for it : )~ Prometheus is written in delphi, has a nice gui for loading and administrating it, and also has a built in web server you can setup for account registration and what not. Just google "Prometheus RO Emulator"
eAthena is the best server emulator around. I think its faster and easier to use...
Hmm I doubt you have 1k+ players but... at around 1k players eathena begins to crash.
If you want gunslinger and ninja get eathena if you want a plain stable version get freya
If you notice none of the big servers use eathena lol ^_^
Not true, Anyone know LLRO? They run eAthena, and used to have an average of 1.5k players.. but went WAY down...Quote:
