Such behavior not only negatively impacts the economy of a realm, it diminishes the achievements of those who play legitimately. We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the community for their assistance in reporting suspicious behavior. Numerous account closures come as the direct result of tips reported to our GMs in-game or emailed to hacks@blizzard.com.

Moving forward, if you suspect that a World of Warcraft player is using an illegal third-party program to farm gold or items, or is otherwise violating our Terms of Use, please report the suspected infraction using one of the methods listed above. All reports will be investigated, and the appropriate action will be taken when warranted

omg,, They finaly got rid of farmers? Is this the first time any MMORPG banned gold farmers?

:rofl: Go Blizzard! btw...they did the same thing concerning D2 when everyone started farming SOJs. They banned a couple thousand people and made a new patch. :P

You mean duping sojs? I remember before the .10 patch came along I had 3 accounts with 8 characters on each full with sojs; could of had like 100 accounts full but got bored of duping them. I remember the dupe method was the easiest I've ever seen you just loaded the item in a specific slot, type a few commands and viola the amount of the item you requested would just start filling up your inventory till that was full then they would just start popping out all over on the ground, this also worked for items too but they weren't perm and the rust storm of .10 wiped the items out but not the sojs.

If you did mean farming in d2 they couldn't really ban you for that since you weren't breaking any rules unless you were botting, but then again I botted NM Andy before that massive .09 soj dupe and would gain 2-3sojs a night.

I duped, botted, used pickit etc. for years and eventually in .10 I did get banned but for using MAPHACK lol of all things like 99% of players used it and they banned for that instead of all the real harmful things I've done since early .08 days.

Didn't bother me much though because after 5ish years playing I had 4 sets of cd keys.

Heh, that's hilarious that they would ban so many people, they must have been pissed.

The EXACT same thing happened to me! Hacked like a freak! I even had multiple comps with pindlebot running. Nothing happened! Then in .10, I got banned for using a freakin maphack.. : /
