[Tutorial] How to setup bakabug v2 server

First : Downloads

1.Kalonline Version ( from 23/5/2006 )

2.MySQL Server 5.0 ( for windows XP )

3. Login Files

4. Server Files

5. MySQL Query Browser

Setup Kal And login files

1. Setup Kalonline

2. put Login-Files in kalfolder

Setuping MYSQL

1. Setup mysql server , dont put id and pw in security ( put anyn )
2. Open Server files rar files , extract db file to c:\db.sql
3. open MySQL Command Line Client
4. if you didnt putted password , press enter and dont enter any pw
5. type this :

Setuping KalServer

in Server Files , extract kalserver to anywhere
open KalServer.exe , it will load everything
press on Make ID to make new id and pass

Making GM / Blocking Account ( just because MAKE GM IN kal server isnt working )

1.Setup MySQL Query Browser Then Run it

2. Choose new connection , Server host is : localhost port is 3306

3. Dont put anything in username/password/default schama

4. In Databases , Choose Kalonline

5. double click at " User "

6. Choose your id which you already made , then ... scroll right to GM
press on edit , then put in GM table , 1

7. for block , on Block table find ID you want block , type in BLOCK table , 1

Logging in game

After you made all thats steps , open server.ini ( in kalonline folder ) and edit ip to your ip ( localhost ip is 127.0.0.1 :jason2: ) then run updater2.exe
press start game , choose any server
enter id and pass and login

Can you tell me what i do wrong?
When i setup the MYSQL Server you posted, i can execute the db.sql file yes !
But when i start the KalOnline server files it gives me a error, DB cant found @localhost....

When i try to login with MYSQL Browser and type Localhost to Server and try to connect, it gives me follow error:

What i do wrong?

maybe , you just didnt putted anonymous in mysql setup

sure otherwise it wouldnt work.

I type Full Install, then MYSQL Name, then i see the window with Security shit.

There i make a arrow at Anonymus, but i cant click NEXT.. so i remove the arrow at the other option (password and name box)

All turns grey - but the arrow at annonymus still there.. so i can klick next and i done it.

Again me ! Yes :D

Now i can login and i was in the game.. i saw a level 100 char with a good sword.. but when i logged in i got just a G1 sword and level 1...

After a min i get : Dissconnect from the Server.

My lagmeter was on 14ms..

My PC: Dual Core AMD 64 4600+
3GB RAM

thats why Bakabug making v4 :)

so he gave us the old files, that all can do what he want with that files and try make her own?

pls just fix the dc.. thats why i end play on International server -.-

hm , just host files on pc and login in another pc

You can fix the d/c problem by adding two zeros to the value below shown by the arrow. Some problem with the lag checker or something if im not mistaken O-o

Np... you can also connect to your server by starting engine.exe with /load /config debug as parameters. You might wanna add the two zeros thing to your guide because everyone is gonna have that problem and not bother reading the post showing how to fix it -_-
