I would LOVE for someone to post an UPDATED guide on how to setup a c4 server, from scratch. Like what i need to download, how toset it up, the whole bit.
I DID search before i posted but i found no helpful guides, because they were all outdated.

And i don't think anyone will write you a c4 setup guide , i mean why would they? when 2 guides alredy are written.
its the same as setting up a C1 server
(no they are not outdated as you stated)
Just sit down and follow the guides until you got your server running.
If you cant manage to run it well then you did not follow the guide exactly step by step.

Its always something , when you got it up and running well then its time to start working to get everything to work.
Otherwise if you don't want this pack you could always get the PP (x64) c4 release pack.

If you would bother howto setup a c4 server (you would have a c4 server up and running) if you would care about reading the guides of course.

When the participants of this section of the forum are server owners making lots of money, why would they want you to know how to set it up so you can too?
Give it time, I have the svn for the latest version. I have been known to make the best guides out of spite.
If someone doesnt come up with one soon, I will eventually. And make it incredibly easy.

I generally spend time writing interesting responses, regardless of the topic :)
Only takes a few hours using the old C1 guides. Its just people on here want everything to have installers and crap like L2J so they dont have to do anything. Server owners know its a piece of cake to set up it you use your brain a little. The real thing most server owners hide is their fixes for in game problems. But its no different then the L2J servers competing. RZ does lack moderation and its painful to even browse these boards anymore.
btw that SVN is just a basic start, it will be full of problems. Fixing things on an C4off server needs to be done by YOU, not waiting for an svn team or server pack to be released. Posting a better updated guide will only clean up these forums, which would be a good thing.
