"HAMACHI" Wireless Broadband PORT Solution

HAMACHI is a powerful tool and a wireless broadband PORT solution.

As we know some ISPs by default, all PORTs are disabled or can not be accessed even by using router and port forwarding.

I've been in a heavy headache these past 2 weeks looking for solution how to make my MU server online, and by reading wifi forums I found HAMACHI (Hamachi : Stay Connected.

A very small and simple application for network resolving can make your server accessible by client with HAMACHI installed. And you don't need to reconfigure your router for PORT forwarding, specially for those who are having trouble for opening PORTs (like me)

HOW:

Server Side:

1-Install HAMACHI.

2-Create Network Name & Network Password

3-Use HAMACHI IP to change your WAN IP in server files.



Client Side:

1-Install Hamachi, enable auto start.

2-Join Existing Network (you must know server's Network name&password)

3-Open launcher and use server's HAMACHI IP to connect.

I have a version 99.62 running server all features working.

Unfortunately Hamachi (while it's a very nice little app) has a limit of 16 users per network, so your server might be a bit lonely :hmm:

wit hamachi u can open more than 1 network. for example 10 networks = 160 users. all ip's in server files u replace wit hamachi ip.

Version 1.0 supports 64 network... ..:: Hamachi Games ::..

for me 64 is more than enough for a small community, and I'm glad to say even I'm downloading stuff, no one complaining about lag. Try my server it's very private and all 99.62 features works.

use 127.0.0.1 in all Links4-8 ,ExDB and Chatserver, and commonserver.cfg too

and use Hamachi IP in;

-all in CS folder
-Lang folder
-MapServerInfo.dat
-IpList.dat

Tried and tested!

hamachi is used if u cnt make people connect to ure global ip. in a way, ure creating a virtual lan. change all ip's in muserver files to hamachi ip. al so more dna one network can be opened so 10 netwrks times 16 = 160 people.

hamanchi does have a limit but you can just make another network that connects to you didnt you know that omg.....:)
