I am trying to mount the server of ROSE, plus this giving an error (it sees photo attached). I am using the IP 192.168.0.1 the MySQL the last version of the XAMPP.

errr isnt 192.168.0.1 your router ip...o.O?

yep all routher IP begin with IP 192.168 go to proxy-server.us and you see your IP .

server ROSE use this IP=192.168.0.1
client ROSE in LAN use this IP=192.168.0.37

if you want to play on lan then use your lan ip on login and char server and same lan ip with your client

If you have to use 127.0.0.1; then why are people hosting servers, like sRose, etc. <_<

you don't have to use 127.0.0.1 .. lol. you can use any ip address that your computer currently has.

ok pay close attention to this line if (!mysql_real_connect(&mysql, "127.0.0.1", "root", "root", "dheat_roseon", 0, NULL, 0))
Log("Um, Could not do that MYSQL shit..."); it should be this and or localhost otherwise your databse will not work it has to connect to a local databse dont changefrom 127.0.0.1 your router ip will not sufice

you can change it if your sql is hosted on another pc with a different ip address. i run my webserver on a dedicated box, and it has a lan ip, and it works fine.
