I want to start a files hosting service with the max limit of mb 50 .
I need some of you guys to suggest me how much space i need & BW .
Atm i have just 6 gig space & 100 GB bandwith and tomorrow i'll upgrade to 3 more gigs . Can you tell me where i need more gigs ? At space or bw ?
soley depends on what your customers are and etc. No one can really predict with accuracy what you will need.
If you're going to really get into the file hosting web, I can tell you now; you're going to need way more space. I used to upload around 4 or 5+ gigs per day.
there are free places to upload stuff, dunno why anyone would pay. lol
2tb harddrive space and an unmetered bandwidth line on a dedicated server. You are looking to spend over $500 a month also. ;)

As for the web hosting or whatever,forget it.
If it's just between friends, then I suppose it could be useful. You know you will always have space to upload to and you can control it's uptime + downtime.
I don't see any reason why you would want to do anything more than that given how many already exist out there.

Yes , but for start was enough . I was upgraded it daily with 1-2 Giga Bytes of space.
