A Little Help Please?

Hi, I downloaded the client that is in the sticky, but after I use the merge file, the rar is corrupt. Specifically I need an unaltered main.dll that uses the korean addresses, so I can connect to my own server. I have the sbgbbs.com client, but when I use the hosts file, it still connects to their server. Any help would be appreciated.

I am downloading NFClientFaceEng1054a.rar right now. I got the server up and running, and now just downloading the client. This is actually harder to get up than Wow private server, heh. But it was still easy expecially with MSSQL :D

Yeah lol. If you downloaded that client file in one part, could you point me to it?

I jsut downloaded parts 1,2,3,4,5 and then opened part1 with 7-zip. You dont really need a merge file.

This must be a little stupid, but...how do I add myself to the SQL database? I am otherwise getting

You need download all part, and the bat files ( NFClientFaceEng1054a.rar_Merge.bat) and run this file. After 5 part become 1 and use winrar to unrar.

Yeah I tried that, but it becomes corrupted for me. It says that it has an unexpected end of the archive. Could you please just upload your main.dll with the Korean addresses? That's all I need right now.

you also might want to try and regedit your old SDNET files out.

I tried that before, but it still connected to another server. I'm sure that it's the main.dll that's causing my problems.

this is the main.dll file for the sbgbbs.com client. its 461KB.

I tried both, but with the 1.6mb one, it crashes my client every time, and with the sbgbbs.com one it will not connect to my server no matter what, using the hosts method or the regedit method.

so your trying to connect to your server using a client side version of navyfield? do you have the server side?

Yes, I have the server, and I set it up properly and the server is working, but I cannot connect to it using the client.
