[PC] Pokemon Online MMORPG (The Real One)

The previous "Pokemon Online MMO" thread in this forum has recently came to my attention. I don't usually come to this forum, but I was told by one of my staff members that there was a rip-off POL circulating on the internet.

I just want to let everyone know that so-called Pokemon Online in this thread is using stolen character sprites from my Pokemon Online MMORPG project.

I am the owner of the original Pokemon Online. The official website is located at Pokémon Online - Home. I urge everyone not to support this false project, as they have unlawfully used sprites from my game. They didn't even ask for permission, which is even worse. We have worked hard to create these sprites, and we don't take kindly to people stealing them without permission.

Yes, but the one I specified in my original post coped my Pokemon Online project. The Pokemon Online I am creating has been around for years. It was started back in 1999 and then revived in 2006.

ur giving out map makers n telling ppl how to use them.

Yes, I am making the Map Editors public but that doesn't mean anyone can create a game using it. You need to remember that in order for the Map Editor created maps to be of any use you need to have a game client that is programmed to read the map editor files. Thus, the maps will be useless except for myself. Also, what language is the other game being programmed in?

well maybe you'll need to put a copy right on it, and now days it's easy to find a game client or w/e u need to make this game. on google :P

I can see you are inexperienced with games programming. Programming language examples: Visual Basic, C++ etc.

There's a bug in POL v5 which prevents the map from being loaded correctly. It will be fixed for the release of v6.

Ok first things first, we have not stolen anything, those sprites are posted every where want links? Its not public that is a preview of what the site "may" look like.

As for the posts on your forums stating we are in experianced, wont get far and so forth is completly wrong. You say you have been around since 1999? and all you basicly have working is a very basic client/server which allows roaming & chat.

As for this project we have been work for about 3 weeks tops and have guilds/item equips/chat/roam/npc dialogs and much more.

You afriad of compitetion and as for this project its not created by some cheap game builder program its coded directly with no help from MMF/Game Maker or the mirage sources and so forth.

All sprites on the site have been replaced from a kind user named XuiNe giving us base designs and so forth as when he pmed me about you complaining "omg sprites stolen" how are they "stolen" wit a preview screenshot, they are not implemented in-game so stop the worrying.

as we are on the topic of advertising due to you may loose members heres a list of pokemon online sites for any one else to choose freely all these will have unique differances from what i can tell only thing is Pokemon Online (My version) will not be open beta till it has very few bugs/problems and actually has pokemon in it.
