I have not seen a fix as of yet, but I not have full skill books and lvled up on a cleric, mage, champ and knight.
This takes a little time, but is cool to see all of the skills. SOme don't work, yet tho

job cannot be changed unless you fing a way to talk to mairard in adventures plain although you can add youre job inyoure DB but only the jobs muse and soldier work.
and who fixed the skill book bug i still got it
