Well buddy that's fucking shitty to hear. Everyone's gotta go sometime though. =/
he's 85. due to US standards he's living ten years longer than the avgerage person. The reason why they (the doctres) gave us arbitrary times is because you really don't know when it's cancer. When they were pumping fluid out of his stomach, they thew out stomach cancer because when they did a patient ealier in the year (who doesn't have stomach cancer) had almost three times the fluid pumped.Quote:

I see this as a lucky thing because you actually have some prediction so you can make sure his last few moments were done great and was prepared for. Some people don't get a chance to know when someone will pass away and don't get to do this.
Never look at his death as a negative way but a thankful way and celebrate it, be happy. This will be the perfect oppertunity to say those things you love to tell him.
Btw, has he planned anything? Some people have some last requests when they have been told how long they may live, I was wondering if he did?
That sucks, my nan is judged to die in the next 2 years since all she does it sit down an waste away, good ridance says me and my dad, even if she is my dad's mum

My grandfather died of leukemia when I was only 4. My dad said he regrets me never getting to know him that well. I feel ya pain bro. Stay strong.

I'm really happy to be back home. As it turns out my gandpa's not doing fine at all and he's getting worse since they moved him from the hospital to the nursing home. hes got secondary cancer all in his abdominal area and he's getting fluid build-up into his stomach (so he refuses to eat anything). We may even go back up to st. louis again. I just wish god would take him now this is so stupid, he says he ready and he's just waiting.
