Anyway i'm pretty sure i will get a X360, and if it has good games and the controller works nice, then a Wii aswell.
No go for me with the PS3, not untill like 5 years when they are very cheap. ;)
Definitely the Wii, cheapest, original and has the some classics coming out very near the release date. As Gohan said the PS3 is also a no go since there aren't any decent titles on release and the price is ridiculous.
im going to get the wii when that comes out too seems like there are some nice games comeing out for it. or i might just buy games for my 360 with the money i save for the wii
PS3 because I'm a fan of their other systems. And maybe a Wii
Im getting a WII, I would get a PS3 if they will remake Final fantasy 7 to it :)
Out of those i'd definatley opt for an Xbox 360! Here's the rest:

Having played FPS on consoles, i can definetly say they could never own me vs me with the mouse, well perhaps if they use auto aim... which most console games use...Quote:

Now i have to admit that i'm not that great anymore, but i used to be able to kill 5 people with a single desert eagle clip in counter-strike, which holds 7 bullets, 1 shot in the head is a kill, which i had almost all the time.
With a console you are either to slow, or to fast, meaning that the cursor either moves to slow to reach my head before i reach yours, or that it goes so fast that you don't stop right at the head most of the time.
The mouse simply has way more control, and although i'm sure some hardcore players can own regular people with controller vs mouse, but if you get people who are about just as skilled, then the mouse user will probably get a 5:1 ratio.

Because of the awesome games and the original concept of having to use your hands a little more in the games. Oh, and because of Super Smash Brothers: Brawl (drool).
And I will also get the PS3, even if it's expensive! It has the best RPG games and many other good games too, and the main reason is.. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots! (droooling over my keyboard.)
I love all the Metal Gear games and I must know what will happen with the story.
As for XBOX360...

We already have an Xbox 360. It's a great system in my option and FPS game are actaully good on it, and that is comming from a hardcore computer FPS player.
I'll most likly get Kitten the Wii for Christmas seeing as she already has tons of UK GCN games and the Wii is region free. So why not get one instead of a another GCN to use over there (since she gave her's away). Not to mention there are quite a few games comming out for it that we both like.
So for the PS3? Well I'll just bug my father to get us one for my birthday and Christmas. He did the same for me with the PS2. Got that and a game for them both and hopefully he'll do it again for the PS3. Pretty much want the game Gundam: Crossfire for it that comes out at the release as I'm a massive Gundam fan and not to mention it will also have MGS4, GT HD, and FFXIII for it as I am also a big fan of them all too.
Now all I lack is an HDTV to actually make use of these next gen stuff. -.-
