Wikipedia
It's a RTS by the producers of Darwinia and Uplink. Basically you start out with a chosen territory on the world map (russia, for example). You place your units, buildings and fleets (you have a predefined number, you can't build more) and then you start wrecking as much stuff as you can. The game has 5 duration lvls:
DEFCON 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. You start at DEFCON 5 and you can only place units. At DEFCON 4 (6 mins after game start) you can detect units by radar and move your fleets. At DEFCON 3 air and sea warfare is allowed (you can nuke using bombers). At DEFCON 2, there's no difference. DEFCON 1 allows you to use submarines to nuke and missile silos to nuke too.
Why is this game so good? It allows total mayhem. You have 5 nukes per sub, 10 per silo, 8 per hangar and carrier (i think). This gives 5*12+10*4+8*4+8*12 witch means you have 228 nukes per player per normal game (there can be up to 6 players per game). Basically, the player who has less casualties wins the game.
Anyway this game can be bought by steam for $15 or in a boxed version through their WEBSITE
