Downgrading

I deleted the patch.mpq

i ran the repair.exe

i downloaded this file

i ran it.

my WoW is still at the base version and not at 1.10.
what am i doing wrong?

well, why not try delete wow.exe and run repair.exe ?

deleted wow.exe and ran the repair again and then ran the patch again. all it does it create a file called prepatch.txt and says prepatching worked... nothing else

try 2 delete different things from ur data folder (A) worked at me :)

well deleting wow.exe really works, because I had did it not once and it worked everytime. it just requires to download two executables from the internet and all repair is successfull. make sure your data isn't read-only and try reading messages as ppl commonly aren't reading them, so that's the biggest problem..

i made a video that shows me patching. i deleted wow.exe and patch.mpq and repaired all before this. also checked to see if the data directory was on read only and it wasnt.

ok, so it seems everything you run is not working. because when you launch bnupdate or any other standalone patcher, you should at once see updater screen. maybe your pc is slow and/or antivirus is still checking that file, before it allows to be launched.. dunno.. those apps should show errors if anything goes bad or message if it's ok..

lexx I've did the same, but I'm stuck now with WoW.exe from version 1.12 :S I need the Original WoW.exe from v1.10.0 anybody can help me with it? Or upload it to rapidshare or something please? :$
