I really need your help. That's my problem

Short description:
a server (c4, off) was successfully installed and a world was generated. Then we created an account (one can see it in a database without any problems) and tried to connect a client to the server...and got a problem. Where could be a problem?
I had the same problem, it looks like its either trying to find data in the lin2db=>user_data (looked in table, there isnt any data. Should there be?) or it just can't find the databse itself, assuming it's an ODBC error.
I still haven't managed to get around this but it just hangs there printing alot more of the same error.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?
surely someone else has encountered this issue and resolved it?
Any admins have an idea on this?
