Just fight it...if you're a canadian citizen and Isreal sends another letter to deport you or w/e... Canada won't allow it, because Canada has no laws which force you to join the army.
And Canada does allow dual citizenship Rishwin.

I'm not Canadian lol.... I'm American. And If I run and give up my citizenship I also give up the ability to visit my family, relatives, and friends ever again.
Or you could end up in the army...which is a whole lot worse, considering the fact that you'll...be in the army...and in the army...ppl die...and then you wouldn't be visiting your family at all...Quote:

I thoroughly discussed this matter with many friends, family, relatives, some state officials, etc.
If I run away from the army and stay at the states, as soon as my foot touches Israeli soil I will be forced and taken to jail FOR LIFE
MentaL's suggestion has been the best so far :p My dad agrees that if I would ever wanna get out of the army, faking my way out of it is my best bet (but they will write it on my permanent record and in Israel, not having served in the army will make people look down on you so bad)

Only read some of this post so soz if it covers ground already posted but... maybe the reason that the israeli army is renound for its blunders and such is because of such recruitment tactics, ie children getting shot by snipers, whoever said they're one of the best organised is wrong, they're just one of the richest due to the sponsorship of the US government which for the enlightend few know is run by jews, so gl dude, hope you dont kill any more foreign aid workers or children, or just general civilians, ruining israels already crap reputation throughout the majority of the developed and developing world, ofcourse with the U.S as a major exception.
Erm, it depends where hes going to serve, if it some combat unit, then its dangerous, also, in Israel you can have 2 citizenships, I am going to the army as soon as I finish school, I am in the last class now, most likely I'll be serving at military intelligence unit, doing all the tests for it now.
@RsX: The army will send you a letter after the physic tests about the optiones you get with your stats, if your stats will be high enough you have a big chance of being offered to serve at military intelligence, most of my friends who are being recruited to the army in 1 year got the invitations, probably its their recruitment year or something...
anyway, GooD LuCK with the tests, you'll get really crazy because of all the waiting, and its not only physics, you got those PC tests with the 300 questions and timed... Very Annoying, also all those lo0o0o0o0ong lines of waiting... Just the memories annoy me...
