[DL] Kobold - Easy to install and use repack (NEW 3.0!!)
Ok here it is:
Download Kobold fully configured (with stuff from sticky thread of kennythekid (All Credits to goes to their respective owners!!)

Be sure to backup your old database if you want your accounts and chars to stay, because this is a whole fresh release!!
To do this:
Before you install the new version, check your old versions /tools folder and extract the "Acc Backup GSE" tool.. Then put it in your Kobold root folder and run it!
A new folder will be created called /accbak where the .sql file is located.. Save this .sql file and install the new pack 3.0 in another folder! Start the server and run Navicat.. Get into your database with following information: Hostname/IP: 127.0.0.1 - User: root - Pass: root - Now log in, and go to your Kobold database, and delete the following tables: (click on em and use "del")
- accounts - realm_list - auctionhouse - characters - char_state - char_auras - inventory - chars_data - pet_store - queststatus - char_reputation - char_spells - guilds - guilds_members - guilds_ranks - item_instances - mail - mail_item_pages - tutorials - addons - corpses - worldserver_list
When this is done, right click on the Kobold table and choose "Execute batch file" and find your koboldbackup.sql file which you saved (the backup made by backup tool) and run it.. Make sure you get no errors.
Thats it! Now you got all your old chars etc! :) Be sure you ONLY delete the tables which I wrote and none else!!

Knows bugs:
- Some quests still dont work! As I haven't tested any quests yet I only know a few.. Theres still nothing I can do about this.. But I would be happy if someone had a big list with all the broken quests, so I could post them to some devs for fixing... However I only accept LISTS with more than 10 quests.. (It would be a mess to get 1 quest from many ...)
- Players getting "Must be in front of target" happens.. This is a low prior bug, cos its easy to just move a bit around.
- Tauren warrior bug.. While waiting for Heroic Strike on next melee, dont execute Racual, Stump ability! It will make Heroic Strike go stuck.
- Tauren Shamans seems unable to get their totem quests.
- Orcs Bloodfury doesn't seem to have any effect.
- Proffesion: Skinning, doesn't work.

Patches and updates (You'll have to install these AFTER you installed the big pack above!) :
- (Fix 1) Big bug fix!! IM SORRY! This one is not on me, but I should have tested it! Im so very much sorry!! When you load WS_server_alive it wont load functions.py ... This is easily fixed by downloading this file: RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
Just extract the folder to your Kobold root folder and it will be fixed!
If you have already runned the WS_server_Alive before installing this, be sure to run "clean" in /kobold/WS/scripts/.
How to Install:
(Sorry I didn’t upload maps file became too big for my connection to upload)
Extract maps with map extractor in /tools folder, copy the executable to your wow directory and create a folder called: "maps", let it finish and then move the folder "maps" into the WS directory of kobold.
New and easy .exe (by skite2001): Run "Kobold starter" (This is good so that you can make a shortcut to server to desktop without having to make 4-5 shortcuts..)
click start.bat (SQL server)
click WS_Server_alive.bat (Until 'Accepting connections from...' appears) then
click RS_Server_Alive
click LS_Server_Alive
GM Login:
Acc name: admin - and the pass: admin
Enjoy !
To stop the server, close down each window with "ctrl+c" and type "y" when it asks if youre sure.. Then run stop.bat to stop the MySQL..

Kobold Forever!
If you have problems with the Deeprun Tram or the big lifts around the world, be sure to check THIS POST.
(A little extra information provided by my own experiences:)
Note 1: Be sure you dont have Skype open! This program makes the SQL database (start.bat) unable to run correctly.
Note 2: Be sure you dont have any MySQL or Apache running when you run start.bat! Close down your current MySQL server if you have one running (uninstall is not required, just close it - Use: ctrl+alt+del, and find process "mysql-nt" and close it.. Also close "Apache" if any of those are running.)
Note 3: To make sure that start.bat is loaded successfully, a webpage comes up. When it comes up, wait 5 seconds, and then refresh it. If the page cannot be accessed or showed anymore, you have something that blocks for mysql to start! If it comes up with the exact same page again, loading was a success and you can go on.
This repack will be updated frequently as new databases etc arrives.
