hi everyone, I followed the instruction from pinned thread. what I can achieve is login local server successfully, but another problem pop up. I can not creat new character, actually i can creat it, but once i click creat ok, the interface automatically back to main menu and the character I made dispeared. how to fix it? thx in advance!

yes, I am quite sure i loaded the v2.3 and even tried v2.4. but it just didnt work anyway. everything looks fine, just cant creat new chara:(Quote:

great thx in advance dude^^. I wanna make clear which sql file i should load to database before i start to run it? only reparck 2.4 sql is enough or do I need to load some basic sql first then make 2.4 as a patch? sorry for my noob question. as I know in mongos database, there is a table which is named character_create.sql or something like that. i couldn't fine similar table from my kobold database table list. I guess that's the reason of my problem. anyway, waiting for your improved solution and tell me which sql files I should load btw. thx again:)Quote:

I'd suggest a mod sticky that because we're going to get a flood of more noobs.
did u put the sql files in a correct place ?
delete characters table, execute batch file: characters.sql
Really not that hard ^^
but the characters table is tricky .... as sometimes it wont work even with ne w good sql dunno i've experience that ...
