[gamecube] where did it go -_-

Have anybody ever realised that there has been hardly anyposts on gamecube. Im not one to whine but what happened to the days when the 64 was the coolest thing around now its all about "ps2" and "xbox". The PC is also marvelous but whatever happened ot the hours of mario kart and zelda or the countless adventures of starfox. hate to tell u guys but it seems ragezone has lost its gamecube spirit, apart from a few posts here and there of hardcore fans i can only shake at disgust at the gamecube smashing video on youtube, Well if any of you guys like the good old nintendo gameplay post here and show your pride in the cube that owned

I'm going to risk saying they got boring and repetitive, after countless games were made using the same characters...

It was more of big game coperations thinking gamecube was meant for their games forcing nintendo to as you said use the same char though in some game that was very succesful "super smash bros" is one of them

Zelda for the win.. I completed Majoras mask, ocarina of time and then Windwaker :) ah.. the good old days

Zelda for the win.. ocarina of time so fucking marvelous really i think i wont get any thrill anymore like i got for that game.

Yer u cant go past zelda but i would think compared to all the other zelda games ocarina is the best thats why i cant wait till twillight princess it said to be a sequel of it ^^

It was just a flop for Nintendo. The content just wasn't as good as the older systems. When you have most of the software for a system that is first party made and has Mario in the title. It's a real drag.

Not saying it isn't a good system. It was pretty damn good. Mario party games and Wario Ware Inc are a blast when you have friends over. But with out theos games the system just lacked.

It wasn't like the NES, SNES, and N64 where you had everyone making games for them. They just didn't have the content to drive it which caused it to flop. Just like how the Dreamcast was. A great system just lacked all the content.

Now with the DS and GBA it's a whole different thing. Now they are truely great systems with tons of great games. Just hope that the Wii with it's uniqueness will be good.

From the looks of it. This generation the flop will be going to Sony as someone needs to have the shitty system. ;)

Lolz ill tell u one thing when it comes to content wii is gonna kik ass because they are the only system with bleach and let me tell which sensible anime fan will not want to vs their friends using their fav bleach character + the uniques of the control of the game

If you go to game stores now in the UK it is very hard to find Gamecube games in them!

i have my gamecube right here, and i still love it. But i'm gonna love the wii evenmore. Btw does anyone know if there gonna be another sequel on supersmash bros?

Yes on the Wii, there is going to be Super Smash Bros. Brawl - and it is gonna own, neway back to the topic of GC. I loved the GC when I got it, but for about a year there have been hardly any decent games, and this is why it has been a flop.

supersmash has to be one of the most awesome games ever Lolz i sitll melee It makes me go crazy with all the action on the screen
other good games i cant wait for on wii is zelda, and the tennis thingy game loks fun ^^

GameCube always seemed to be a system for younger kids. Thats why I never liked it.

Hmm i think that was one of nintendos flaws they made the gamecube and its design very childish as you said ,though i think the Wii will fix that problem

The Wii is going to be good. It'l bring Nintendo up with its motion sensitive controllers.

The graphics are worse than the xbox 1 on it just alittle better than the game cube. they even said. Wow you can swing a controller around.

You don't actually need to do what they do. Just a 2 inch swing will swing the bat or w.e they over say everything..

I actually found my gamecube in an old box yesterday, Fifa World cup 2002 and loads of other crap. I love burnout though!

So as you can see the controller is very diverse and believe me have a look at some of the pics and videos for games like wario ware or bleach and you'll see how much fun u can with your FRIENDS instead of say...sitting in a corner with your ps3 and playing by yourself losing all your social and "sexual" life
