losing the hair

well im looking for advice and where else to get it other than the internet?

gonna have it pretty short and have it messy spikey for the most part, so gimme ideas on hairs tyles, its gonna be same length all over i guess

for those who have forgotten or plain dont know what i look like ive attached a picture (also look in the picture gallery im in there)

also ifu have any tips i need advice on decent styling gel, or if it matters much if i buy cheap stuff as ive never really styled short hair b4

i used elmers wood glue for my mohawk

If you're looking for a natural spikey look (ie - not wet) then I highly recommend Garnier Fructis Style Surf Hair. I've been using it for over a year now and it has awesome hold without making your hair look greasy. A lot of people ask me if I actually have anything in my hair because you can't tell. If you're more into the wet-look then I'd suggest Brylcreem squirt-on Gel.

Got no idea at all about what you're talking about... Can you explain a bit?

For spiking? Been using Garnier Fructis Style Spiking Gel for ~3 yrs. Admittedly however, I've only used it for this long because I'd hate to buy another brand that turned out to be "not-as-good" and throw it all away. Done that with some other random gels I forget the names of.

Works fine for my liking when my hair's short. Although I like the sound of Smo's suggestion (1st 1).

i dunno if wax would be 2 hard or just too hard to get off my fingers, how hard wearing is it?

aye i know what u mean m8, the garnier stuff sounds good a few ppl have mentioned it to me, im thinking my hair will be longer than urs however ive not settled on anything yet

wow thats a pretty crazy change in hair styles. well i've never really used gel too much but I use that frustic stuff too when i feel like gellin my hair.

All my hair is spikey, i use vo5 wax. I went from long brown hair to short spikey hair, was worth it.

how long it take u guys to do ur hair?

used to take half an hour, after a while your hair trains itself (or does for me) and takes like 5 minutes, helps with a hair dryer, may sound gay but it helps cos once my hair is wet, use a towel to dry it, chuck wax in, straighten it as best i can , use hair dryer, then once dry , more wax and woola.

Use wax, TBH its all good, the wax's(sp?) I mean and garnier usually does the stuff.

i used wax to style my emo hair cut when i had it its more for styleing then spiking imho

Emo Style DuH! with some BLuE n REd Stripes...then you be Emo Enuff!

Well if you don't like the new hair, you can always just wear a hat :laugh: :P

I hope it wont look like shit after u done it :p

I use American Crew wax to style my hair.. it's a bit pricey tho..
