House move

I'm moving this weekend and found out that my new landlady (apparently) doesn't allow pets. Yes I know I should have checked that first but as it's not a problem in my current place, I didn't think to!

So, do I smuggle the cat in and hope no-one notices or do I do the honourable thing and bring it to the landlady's attention (and risk her saying no!)?

I'm thinking I may be honest but if there are any other ways I can get around it please suggest! I haven't signed the contract but the house is really nice so I'm moving even if she says no (and will have to move my cat to my folks or something!).

Put the cat in a bag and drop it in the river. They suck anyways lol.

ask her,the worst she can say is no and if u did sneak it in and some1 found out u would risk losing the place

if worst comes to worst give the cat away

dude, it's the same if tell you to drown your son. people get attached to their pets and mostly, see them as a part of their family.

and as for the guy moving houses, i think it'll be better if you bring it to the landlady's attention, and the worst thing that could happen is her to say no and you'll just have to look for another place. i get it that you're not really press with time on this matter.

well we have a cat and we're not supposed to... we actually got it after moving in, but we just make sure the cats not around during the inspections... you could always do it that way (only if its a clean cat that doesn't tear shit up).

but even if you do decide to tell her, i do not think she will tell you to give it away. all she may do is ask you to give her a separate bond for any damage the cat may cause (which you will get back if it doesn't ruin anything).

well i think, the best thing to do is just ask....
you´ll get in trouble if you don´t and she finds out

if she says no, than just say "oh well...i guess i have to drown it now" ;) shell soften up...hopefully >.<

I don't know how in anyway anyone could be offended. They're furballs of course. Insignificant creatures that chase/lick their own ass =/. They mainly spend their entire lives sitting inside a house(In which they don't probably like despite the thoughts of the stupid owners who think they do) or they spend their lives outside shitting in a field or your back yard. Meh, useless. :P
