thats nice, a 6 yr old tho abit surprising, old wives tale or true fact, doing body building in un-developed bodys can cause growth stunt's. i use to do 200+ pushups a day and i know how hard it would be to do 10,000! but theres also a way where you can do pushups without using your muscles to do so, think it has something to do with your elbows, so he could of cheated!! :P
That's just insane. Hell, i can't even do 150 pushups. =/
I learned him that :P
now that is inspiring
such excercise indeed is very bad for bodies which are not yet fully grown...
Your skeletal figure can get completely distorted, and your bones might not be able to support such strength.
For instance, a guy I knew some time ago, started building his body at 12, and at 15, when doing longjumps, he broke both his upper and lower leg just by pushing off.... His mustles couldnt support the strength, and he couldn't do anything for a year...
Lol @ that. If a six year old soes 10,000.. _should_ I be able to do 30,000 then? XD Anyways most of you guys were probably stronger when you where 6 then now compared to your weight :) I was.
Exercise isn't bad...it isnt like hes doing body building, hes just supporting his own body weight, you should be able to do that at any age.
aye weight training and body weight training are massively different, however if you train well and rest your body being sure to feed it well then you should have no problems
I cant even do 100. 0.o
And that kid did 10000. =.=
That's completely rediculous. You can't move without using muscles.
Not all that acclimatized to using long words are we. The problem with people so young building strength this quickly is that the bones are still malleable and can grow irregularly when the muscles pull so tightly.
I cant even do 10 o_O lol.... I can do situps though easy :D and my legs are awesome (DDR DDR DDR WOOT WOOT!!!)
steroids!!! very bad that kids going to die a young age..
I'd say more like dedication and training.
wow interesting O.o I'm teh suck at those things, I'm pretty good at sit-ups though.
Thats pretty amazing. My arms died at around 500. I mean wow, if those were legit pushups then hats off to the 6 year old.
woah,
i can hardly do like 10 push ups =/ lmao
10,000 pfft, wtf that lameass tryin beat me, (i did 50,000 at the age of 6 3/4) tbh what a noob
Woah, and I were happy when I did 250 in a row O.o'
Omg i cant even do 30 in a row :p And tbh i agree that doing this stuff at the age of 6 is not good for u.. ( Dont ask me why , i just do )
i knew it had to be a chinese guy when i first read the title >.<
anyway i think its awesome...i only managed about 175 during my last national team selection
that would give him problems in later life i think, if you over extented yourself like at my age, 14, it would just ruin my muscles and eventually make them not be able to lift heavy objects and stuff when im like 25.
i cant do 1 -_-''
admirable discipline :)
o_O that kid is stronger then me =p
lol a kid that can do 200x more than me o0,My friend plays soccer for clubs and other sports and he can only do 5 max xD
Shit, 10,000?
I think I can do 2...maybe 3...
wow.......
lol. next time anyone thinks of bullying a 6 year old, consider that they can be real tough!
I'd hate to try and punish him by making him do push ups - for most people making them "drop and gimmi 20" tires them out, you've have to do "drop and give me 20,000" =p.
On another note, doing significant amounts of exercise before you've stopped fully growing can effect your growth later in life - hence why gyms usually only let 16+ year olds use the machines etc.

I read somewhere about how weightlifting (pumping the biceps up) decreases/shrinks your testicles?
...is that what he was doing, cause honestly I thought he was doing pushups...
And honestly you ppl need to stop comparing professional weight lifting, to exercising. PUSHUPS and BENCHPRESS are 2 Different things.
It isn't unhealthy to exercise at any age...
10,000 pushups is a show of excellent endurance / stamina...not just amazing strength since all he is lifting is his own body weight.
wow, thats tank >.>
wow...great stamina.
amazing O_O
china is all about dedicating yourself towards training chinese monks get a peice of white paper put it against the wall and punch it untill they wont feel the pain(get imune to the wall as they say) as the time passes by peice of papers sticks to the wall :P
and 10k push ups is not unrealistic i remember we had a guy in russia he did 2k in under an hour at the age of 13
its not that suprising, considering the size of his arms and the size of his body, both his arms are probly about the same weight as the rest of his body. If you look at his stomach too, theres nothing too it.
Personally, i'd be more impressed if a guy weighting 15-17 stone did 10,000 push ups in that time
In all honesty if you can't handle your own bodyweight, you need some serious exercise/workout to do. I mean 10,000 pushups requires some strict discipline, stamina, and years of practicing, well like 2-3 for this dude probably..but yeah. If you can't do around 30-40 pushups at your very best, start the exercise.
No matter how much you weigh, you should have the muscle capacity to handle that weight. I hate when ppl say "Omg he can do that many pushups cause hes so skinny"...
I myself rarely workout with weights, i just use my own body...cause i figure if I can master that, its enough.
i dont wanna start a flamewar, because you dont know me, but i do martial arts, and weight train. Don't just assume when you flame someone to try look big that they are all fat sweaty geeks. 15-17stone is a big weight, i have large arms, but after about 20-30 pushups i get very tired.
That doesnt mean im unfit, or that i need to SERIOUSLY start exercising.
The lighter you are, the smaller your muscles need to be to lift your bodyweight, its pretty much physics, a small childs skeleton and organs will weight less than a fully grown adults.
i think its BS honestly...until i see a video i wont believe it
The more you sit in front of your pc... the more you eat at mcdonalds... It just makes me eaiser to beat you =]]
