TOPMMO.NET -> Finally a rankingsystem WITHOUT cheaters!

Dear RageZone Players, and server owners.

I'm here to advertise a new type of toplist. You know, the websites which gives a good impression about good and reliable servers. You might say: "Ya, but i know gtop100, xtremetop100".

Right, those are the types of toplist that made us make this toplist. Why? Simply because the fact that their top10-top20 completely consist of cheating servers, who use a proxy-voting method in order to get more votes, and thus more players.

This isn't the way it should be going, and it completely destroys the use of a toplist. Why would you even visit a site like that, if you know you can't find a clear server, who doesn't cheat, and thus giving you a fake impression.

That's where topmmo.net kicks in. We started this toplist at Thursday 26th of october. We have got a moderator team who will check out other advertisers. ALL votes will be checked for fraud, and cheating sites will immediately be removed.

this what a lot of people have been waiting for, and that's why we completely rebuilt the sourcecode of a topsite and reskinned the whole bunch, in order to create a goodlooking, wellscripted website,

i hope a lot of people will be taking advantage of this.

also this is not only intended for the muonline section, it's also intended to be used for other games like lineage 2, world of warcraft, Counterstrike, AND SO ON.

for me its bad idea .... only for childs , what have to choose what server is the best , and where they can play ' if its top#1 '

i can code much new cool features to muonline that you cant code exactly like me , and noone else , so my server will be #top? of course it wont be , because i dont got much players online , im sure #1 server will be only 24/24 with some version , and XXXXXX mb connection, players will choose it , because much peoples are playing there , im sure even if that #1 server will change version to 097d + some new cool features , it will be still #1 , because peoples will still play there all the time, because they can know it wont die and are playing against much peoples having fun . . .

so how in your eyes will look choose of peoples?
x : im voting on #1 , because my friends are playing there
z : im voting on #1 , because there are much players
q : im voting on #1 , because its 24/7 without lags
y : i know that some other servers got more new cool features , but i vote on #1 because there is much peoples and its 24/7 without lag ? xD

well all of those sites are easy to cheat like to make a form bla bla bla with value="site id" etc etc...

I really support the guys out there with standard server files being in top rankings, Mu has a lot to offer but nice events and new stuff. It has a lot to do with nice admin skills, with being nice, fair, being there for the players (not only for ingame issues). Nice files are great but they are not everything.

I opened my server 1,3 years ago in a crappy pc, with a crappy connection, and it was always full. Im lucky, now I have a nice pc, a nice connection, and its still full. My server files? Non-coded RZ 97+99 files.

That's the main idea of hosting a server, I dont think that if you know you cant last you should open a server, I became a server owner cause I hated noobish admins that deleted servers in no time :(

The ranking works great, I dont mind being 1st or last, as long as its fair it works for me.

i agree with this statement. Most MMORPG Top site dont have fair vote, like gamesite200 or gtop100, the vote is going crazy:wolverine

so fair vote is cool enough.

that's why we made the toplist if you read.

As far as the voting system goes. It's easy to fake votes, but it's also easy to kill the cheaters, but the lame admins of the other toplists don't give a fck, they just place advertisement, try to reel in as much cash as possible, and tyhat's it. Mostly their support email don't even exist.

As far as the votes, Servers at #1 have the most votes. Meaning there are a lot of helping people there. They like the server they play at, and they vote.

JamaikaMu has got 200-300 ppl online, and that's their max. There are servers with 600-1000 ppl online with lesser votes. That means people dont carebout the server, they don't really help.

It's just my vision, if you don't think a toplist is reight, and helping, just click on "back" at ur browser, and click "server help" and go help some newbs.

Ok so now it gos by who has the most people and not the best proxy? Whats the diffrence? The BEST SERVERS HAVE LOW POPULATIONS! Why? Becuase stupid kids onyl play the top 10 servers.

We all know Frinze will be nubmer one becuase you are part of there little "group". Give me a top list that gos by the acual server and how mutch work gos in to it and maby it will be worth something. Untill then your just another cheap excuse for a ranking.

I worked for my server and for Mu (Including RZ) more time than in anything else this past year, leaving a lot of personal stuff behind.

Give it a chance, stop the "it will be" flame and false acusations.

This is were offtopic ends, this is an informative thread, not a place to name anyserver, but to promote them all.

Why should they put FrienzMu on first place, they can advertise it in way better ways than in their own top 100... uhmmm like pop-ups or banners on top with FrienzMu advertisement, etc... all of this of course when the topmmo.com will become big enough that server owners will not want to leave it since they will think they actually gain players from it... but the matter of fact is that they will lose players in the process.

But as for now it's all made to look great and promising like all new communities that are made to attract ppl in them, and after it becomes big enough it starts fracking around with ya.

PS: Anyone with PHP and Javascript knowledge can make an auto-voting script...

This is a voting script that votes every 5 minutes for a particular website, now of course the way votes rise depends on how much you set the interval for unique hits to count, but by voting every 5 minutes this script is 100% guaranteed to hit the spot.

But don't worry nobody will leech it away, the code its encrypted and its made to only work from that exact link and location.

Also I don't intend to release the non-encrypted version where people can put their own server ID in, cuz frankly I don't care that much and I don't wish to ruin people's work, I just wanted to prove a point :)

Well the point of this thread is to show we got a cheatfree toplist. The process of VOTING itself can never be protected. However ouyr moderator team will check out the logs of the top15 of the voting list, meaning they will kick and ban any fake voters.

Actually MU is slowly dieing.

Never the less Mu Online section has most posts/views in the entire RZ.

I didn't want to spam the forum with all kinds of different posts, and since im experiencing the cheating in the muonline section the most, it seemed the best idea for the mu section, but if the moderators / bosses allow me to post in other forums too, it would help,
