Froze On Downloading Avatar List.

I know alot of people said about this problem but got no decent answers...im going to try again with a pic!

It freezes on that.

make sure ur server is running and ur IP's r right also check if theres anything saying unknown Packet if there is then ur using the rong client also UPDATE!!

I have updated and it doesnt say unknown packet though i will double check that on all login servers char server wolrd server just in case i missed that but i've got my ip's in my navicat my wan ip cos my friend wan'ts to connect but he logs in gets past avatar thing then he made char then a box comes up saying wait and that's all it does and in charserver it says he's connected then disconnected.

what client r u using?

This one only works 4 me rose_109_109_na_evo.

whats the version? like vr118? says in top left corner

It says 117 on top of trose.exe when i execute it.

No, it was already compiled. Oh btw it was fine when i was on it localhost, then i changed the ip's then it wen't like this...i tried changing them back to localhost again that didn't work either or i missed somewhere where i put an ip.

ok check the MySql make sure the IP's r right then check the coinfig.ini and make sure ur IP is right on the .bat

I'm also asked this long time ago... And guess... I, just as everyone else, got the same answers "Sorry, I don't know", "Use the search button", "Use a port forwarding software", etc, etc.

The only thing I've come with, is what it's NOT:

1) It's not client fault, it does the same with EVERY version I've tested
2) The server works locally, so it's not a 'non working state'
3) If Logging in works, port 29000 works and it's correctly forwarded, so it's not a PORT FAULT, since 29100 and 29200 should be working too (the only exception to this, would be an ISP who likes to block ports EXACTLY beyond 29000)

btw, I've just tested with the server I've mounted and it keeps the same as yours, I can login and I get the Server Name, but just as I click it BLAAMOOO! "Under maintenance" popup (and as someone pointed out before, this happens with and without activated Windows firewall)

Taking that as a clue, I've some ideas where the problem may be.... But I need to do some tests.

well i fink any1 here has there own server so y wud they wanna be gm in urs

1st: check ur ip in mysql db
2nd: check if u hav fully updated narose evo
3: check if u are using the right server files
4: if it still dont work try learning 2 compile at least

I always get this randomly, the only thing that solves it for me is to re-install the database from scratch. A pain i know but its better than a none working server!

I reset db and after a while of that annoying avatar list it says something about scheduled maintenance??
