I'm going to Trick!

recently i've been looking alot of Tricking samplers (short movies) and i really got into it.

What is tricking?

Next sunday i'm visitting some guys that i've met on a forum.
They will teach me how to do the "real" moves and such :D
Of course i will take my bro with me because he likes tricking really much to.

I've made my own youtube acc. to.
It contains 1 movie of me doing a frontflip now which i actually learned in 5 minutes =/

Of course i will update it as much as possible with new moves of mine ^^

My frontflip vid is still pending so you might have to wait to be able to see it.
I know i look lame in the vid but whatthaheck, i don't give a shit :P

Show some opinions:
- what are your thoughts on tricking?
- You think it's cool/dumb/exciting/stupid/etc.

i used to trick myself but i lsot interest when every1 else round here stopped, its awesome fun though

risk of death isnt a bad sampler but it bored me :P
mablung and scroch are both by jujimufu and are much more exciting :P

do u have any martial arts or gymnastic experience?

Actually not, but i am getting flexable by doing excersises every morning and evening =)
And what moves were you doing? ^^
I personally like the Aerial.
It will be my first goal: Learning an Aerial =P

I'm not exactly sure why, but that stuff annoys the hell out of me. Unless someone is actually talented and can do some impressive stuff they should go home and re-evaluate their situation. Down here all we get are asshole kids wearing Nike trainers jumping over fences and rails - 99% of the people who take part in 'Tricking' make fools of themselves because any joe average could do what they're getting 'geared up' to do. Almost every single guy I've seen (bar online videos and such) is doing things I could do - there's no fun that way.

At least promise me you'll be dedicated and get good fast, then we're cool :)

front flip isnt bad m8 just checked it out, you could land that on solid ground quite easily

just tuck a little tighter and dont look to the side so much looked like it was turning you slightly, gratz on getting it so fast though! :D

because you have no martial arts experience go for a tornado kick before you go for a 540, most people will give you the 540 as a basic move in tricking but with no kicking experience id advise against it

Smo I think you're confusing Tricking with Parkour (free running or something like that). I'd love to do either but I'm just too lazy to get into it.

The front flip was pretty impressive. Do you practice things on a trampoline first or something?

Yo im glad there are people starting to trick on ragezone, and thas cool that the first video that got you into tricking: was R.O.D instead of gay joe eigo ;D

"tricking" is all about martial arts tricks or trickz, its all based on aerial techniques, kick flips etc

although as time goes on they are becoming merged, you still get people who only trick and people who only free run but you are getting more and more hybrids kind of blurring the line a little

unfortunately you also get many people who suck at both who think theyre great

As long as you actually attempt a front flip, not a half-assed one where you jump up and dive down, then you will most likely not land on your head/neck. At most you will break your feet. Although it kind of does depend if you weight a lot, I guess...

Hey guys tryed gainer full today :D my first attempt but its already nice one even trough i bailed cause it felt weird ^^ going to get it soon anyway i promise :)

And next sunday from 4 'o clock to 6.

I hope i will make some improvement, because all i can do is a lowsy cartwheel =P

Yeah ofcourse that was j-step. It gives you tons of momentum and is just fun if you execute it properly ;) i just freaked out on my first try thats why i didnt landed it :( But i should get it within few days i guess. I love gainerfull so much its my favorite move at the moment :D

We mightbe able to meet somewhere some time once we are more experienced. But that would be a small chance because im only 15 =P

I'd rather not mention the exact problem with the forums at the moment. They will be back up but I'm not the one doing the fixing. It's a job I'm waiting for the technicians at my hosting company to resolve. It's unfortunate we're all having to wait so long though, I wish they'd hurry up!!!

And a backflip? no problem, as long as i fall into that foam-pit thing :P

is it just me or does it look like that steven guy is jus waving his arms and legs about like a lunatic doin over exagerated flips to make it look like he's doing something! :P also slipping on a bananna skin and spinning round 50 times to look like a kick doesnt cut it for me.
