Umm... Most games use retired military officers for historical and militery accracy. All of the CoD games, most of the MoH games, the BF games, the BiA games. Loads of games use military advisers to oversee it for accreacy. =P
Nothing special there. Though I still can't wait for CoD3. Going to pick it up first thing after school tomarrow. =D

In CoD, all of the soldier's names are from real WWII soldiers if I'm not mistaken.
It's too bad that Call of Duty 3 is not for PC...

The reason it isn't for the PC is because it's made by a different company. The company that makes the console spin off games is making CoD3 and not the normal company that makes it for the PC. :cry:

The thing that appeals to me most about this is the environment youre in. In the recently released gameplay vids, planes are crashing everywhere and theres always action going on. The soft cover system also seems to be looking a treat too...

I hope CoD3 will have a PC version and i hope it will not have airplane missions.

its so gay bcoz cod was first for the pc and only the pc then cod2 was with the 360 and then sent over to pc but it was so fkin buggy half the time it didnt even work for pc now they just pull it off i hate fps's on consels cept for killzone i think thats the only one i can stand

lol you obviously never played it using a pentium processor. it also only worked with what 15 video cards? i had to buy a brand new one just to play it and even then i had to dl 3 patches before it would work properly mabey your just lucky.
I play with a pentium CPU and it never bugged.
Oh.. CoD3 is the most wicked military game out there :D.. if you dont play you will miss alot of fun trust me.. and ye its very realistic and alot of graphics improvments added to the game :).. You just have to try it even if you dont have Xbox steal it from somewhere cuz its worth it

Call of duty 3 looks awesome, shame it isn't for the pc.
It is awsome. Also plays nearly the same on the x360 as it does on the PC. Actually in some ways a little better as you don't have to reach every where for all the keys. Only problem I find with it is the controls are different from other types of games. Going from Halo to CoD3 is kind of annoying when they have different keys for frags, crouch, and melee.Quote:
