Mu Shop 1.3 BETA (New version)

Hi!!

Has you might know i'm developing Mu Shop! (Mu Shop BETA Update,Mu Shop BETA 2nd Update the links to make download no longer work)

What it makes?

• Opens /saves shops & eventitembags files!!
• Puts level, options, skill, luck and durability in the items
• Has a customize form that serves like a Update function, something like: if it comes out a new version of Mu with new items you don't have to wait for the next version of the program you can simply go to Customize form and add the item
• Supports transparency in the main form

Bugs fixed:

• No more waitings. Now it doesn't makes that load, unless you add a new item or you delete one
• No rars in images, so when loading images to the program its faster!
• If you add new items to the list in last position, the loading of the images will be much more faster
• When exiting the program, asks if you want to save the changes, if you haven't done it before
• Some minor bugs

Bugs to fix:

• Add more images to the program
• Add more items. And fix some because I dont know yet the codes of some items
• Make a help file. (maybe not, its so simple)
• To make an installer, so the note 2 won't be need
• To translate it to Portuguese and Spanish.

Note: to add a item you have to doubleclick on the right list of items in the item which want to add, you can also right click and choose one of the options.

Note 2: if you had the program on your computer before, and you usally extract the files to the same directory, first delete the previous files and then extract the new ones because the program can enter in conflit. Also make sure to delete, in the registry, the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mu Shop and all of its contents (to go to the registry goto execute in start menu and write regedit and them press enter) if you do not the program will not work correctly!!!

Please give feedback, suggestions, ideias, etc...

first that error and when i open any shop , it's empty..

same..its not usefull for now... kindly fix it man.

Edit: only needed the Item codes tho, thanks for the DBs man (even though they were pass protected)

I wish to correct the bug the problem is that I don't understand the language of the error.

You said that is nothing new because there is nothing that you can observe that is new, but I done a lot of new things such: you don«t need anymore that dll because the image files are no longer in zip, the initial loading only occurs when it is necessary.

Can you send me the shop files that you get error opening?

I've made it with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005 in Visual Basic because i dont like C++ or C# i think its more complicaded.

Do u have any program blocking acess to the registry? If u allow Mu Shop to acess it maybe u get it fixed, if not try reinstal net frame work!

The error occurs when you open the PROGRAM, and then again when you open the shop.

If you're so "anti-sharing" don't do the DBs in Access, they're easy to crack :x

Anti-sharing doesn't mean that DB's must be very protect means that the code must.

By the way can u post the error when u try to open the program and when u try to open a shop and the shop that u are trying to open!

Cause there some item in ur shop that prorame is not understand. Just creat a new one as u need and insert it in the shop data folder :)

Hi!!

In the new release (1.2) the bug when u open the program or a shop is already fixed! There is only one database file and the loading of the images when you have selected the last item on the principal list is much more faster, i'm working on this and when i've completed this part (loading images faster) i'll do release.

Check for the new version, release already made.

I wish to add all pics, but if the program still gets bugs then i must fix them first and in the end i'll get all pics. By the way i can't get the error that u get (About the connection) what did u do, open the program and click in add leather set, only? Did u get the same error nanoman did because i can't figure out where the error is.

I discover another bug when trying to save a file.

Tomorow i'll do the release of version 1.3 BETA with the error when u add a set fixed and when u exit the shop he askes u if u want to save it.

nanoman i can't see where is the error because there is no error in the code that i'm using, because if it had many others had it founded before, so why don't you try to delete all mu shop files including registry and them download again the program and try it, if u still get the error try version 1.3 that i will release now if with version 1.3 u still get the error i dont know what to do to help you because i can't make that error appear to me.

I cant download 1.2 cause the filefron and megaupload link is not working i mean the file is deleted

Maybe is something that you instaled or something. It can only be it because if before 1.0 worked and now doesn't work it must be something u instaled. The only thing that u can do that i'm sure it will work is to format your computer and reinstal all over again, but i think you wont do that only because a prog unless i think that will be good for your computer to.LOL

Lol...i like your program cause it shows the items serial thats why i want to use it but about adding new sets we all get errors much error not only when adding items and btw i wont reinstall my windows cause i dont have licenced windows version and btw i dont have even the cd...lol

i had thinked on that but i started it on english so that it has more wide, so my problem is if i chage anything in the english version i have to change it in the portuguese version, so i have to be always changing so i prefer either to change the english to the portuguese in the end or to implement language support. But that is on the end of the Beta.

But yes i want to make a portuguese version.

I wish for final version too with all pics etc, but the problem is that i haven't time because i have many written tests in school and i have to study and also to get the pics ain't easy because i have to scale them and when they have TopOver or LeftOver it is even more dificult. So i have to go slow so the pics get good.

I already reinstalled the net framework many time and deleted all registry of mu shop and file on computer but it didnt help and Lasering could u make that the pictures when u make +1+2+3+4... changes the glow

has for you nanoman about the images there is something that i will like to do the problem is: to have all images is already very dificul because they are a lots about 450+/- now imagine all the sets with 13 images it will be almost (450-100)*13=4550 (the minus 100 is for the images that dont change their glow like jewels, etc). Now to get 4550 will be realy dificult.

i really wish the program to work in your computer but as i said (or i think i've said) has i dont know what is causing it not to open i dont know how to fix it.

Well, its a good project, althrough I didn't like that. There're so many bug's on it that shouldn't have (Like "Test" message). Maybe that's because I'm using 1.02K version or something like that, but I think It should work with all versions.

Keep doing a good work.

Hellvix: u are right! The program has not made to the newerest versions, just because allmost all the items that the new version have the program don't includ them. I'm working on adding them and in the images part, but has i've been in vacations i haven't done anything but if u want just add the items manually throw the customize form. The ancient items can not be added in this type of codes only with hex its like the exc items on shops.
