Je suis le French

I was happily roaming exclaboobies' site (Lee Price) - a must read!- when i noticed a witty remark on the french - see "older news" section

Though I do not know Lee's stance towards les frenchies, and tbh i dont care - (exy is god either way), it got me wondering, since the belgian froobies (a subclass of the homo sapiens which I am part of) never make any subtile jokes like that towards the french (most likely because we are part french ourselves :))

Is this "aversion towards french people or simulation thereof" somehow "English" related? some history thing?

Educate me! (and discuss, preferably through means of mudwrestling)

nationaly it goes back to past wars, see napoleon, ww2 etc now of course it isnt fair to insult people based on the past, stereotypes are usually bad but unfortunately theyre here

on a personal level i am yet to meet in person a french person that i actually get along with, in my countless years on this planet i have had to misfortune of meeting many stupid, smelly arrogant french prunes, also french people

some i met over here in merry old england and some i met overseas, in europe and japan most notibly

they have irritated me to a level where i must make comments on their inferiority over the internet, yes it is that bad

they smell
they are arrogant
they are pompus
they are french
their toenails need cutting
they are cheese eating surrender monkeys
they have crazy accents
they have no sense of humour
they kicked your dog

French and English have been rivals from as far back as the Roman days I believe. Even then the Briton and Gallic tribes didn't exactly like each other.
After that, the English and French have fought eachother just about any time they got the chance...
England almost conquering France too. The only reason that didn't happen was the English king died just before he was to be crowned king of France...


Oh and, the French speak French, and that's enough of a reason not to like em already =D

I'm not a fan of the cheese eating surrender monkeys, sorry I meant the french.

And I truly hate america and it's peoples, too many bad memeories about the bastards.

Though I have to say not all americans and frenchies are bad, there have been a smll few that have proven my thoughts wrong and I get along great with them, but unless they prove me wrong they're all twats.

it was when the french built a line of gun turrets accress the french/german border to stop france bieng invaded again that did it for me. they forgot about belgum and the germans just came straight through into france. conclusion. french = dumb

Well, I'm about as good natured as it comes, the only time I am going to throw words at someone is if they personally piss me off.. and as far as I can tell, history has no impact on myself.. if I flew on out to France or Belgium or any of those other places, I don't think I woudl throw words around because of the decisions a bunch of officials made that many take relative to the entire population.

Most of my experiences with French are that they are very arrogant and egostistical. Drives me crazy that's why I don't like the French that much.

In my opinion, we all choose our personality "traits".
I see life as one huge sequence of choices :)
Your surroundings and situation can and will influence those choices, but there will always be individuality.

Anyway my point was that prejudice is just :bad:. Dont judge someone by their looks/nationality/... but rather judge them by their actions.

Well some ppl are just retards its not a country that defines a personne but them selves and I think DONTONBERRY is a retard as a result.
He thinks he is so hot and so cool that evrybody likes him on ragezone while actualy evrybody is calling him a looser behind his back its realy funny.

And I been to evry country in europe and only the english dont liek the French and almost evry country I visited dont like the Uk.

WTF, who gives you any right to disrespect another country? if you dislike that country don't say all this bad crap about them even if you have more proof then pubes.. it still effects people around you, It's not just about you, ok ok it's your opinion but, some opinions can be kept to them selves and no I'm not French, I just have respect for other people and there feelings.
