[good news]

all we hear about in the news is negative bullcrap that is intended to sell more newspapers and to get more hits in websites, to make people feel they have to keep up to date with bullshit that doesnt effet them in any way other than making them feel bad about the world

so in this thread you are to post some good news, something that happened recently!

anything from you saw a guy save a cat stuck in a tree to you saw someone sharing their lunch

fuck the negative news we dont need that! post something that is personal to you or post something that happened that has no bearing on you at all!

i was on a packed out coach the other day and i was sat near the front but in the rush for people to get off at the stop i was stuck in and would have to wait till every1 was off to make a move, but fortunately a guy stopped and let me into the rush of poeple so i didnt have to wait all the way untill the end, it put a smile on my face :)

the only good piece of news i have is that my math proffesor is sick and we won't have a test woohoo!! made about 90+ people cheer! :P

I was in Victoria Station when I saw 3 promotional marketing people dressed up as bears, so I went and hugged all of them, and I got a bag of gooides, in order to get that, you had to play a game, I didn't but I got it :)

on a side note, some good news, i spotted a banger driving about the other day. when i observed more closely i saw sipher driving the car, as i turned back and walked on my way i heard a big bang which sounded like a crash. as i turned i saw sipher giving traffic warden a few digs who gave him his ticket, while the warden was impailed between two cars.

my teacher gave me a extended deadline for one day... (bitch...)

Heh, finally a bit of common sense from someone. Not to long ago we were looking at this in Sociology. It's entirely idiotic I think. What do you expect to see when you look on the news or open a news paper? Something negative obviously because that's what sells and it's bullshit, all of it. You open a newspaper and see "This guy stabbed 2 other people then robbed a store" ... "4 Murders, rape in this area" ,etc.

You never see(And let me use you as an example Ex :p). Exclamatio had a party, everyone came, had a good time and no one got hurt, everyone got home safely. Instead you'd see. Ex's party caused 3 deaths and 4 people were raped and mugged! Aye, It's indeed very stupid. This is the reason why society has become even more negative. Because of the media and news vendors corrupting society even more than necessary.

But as they say. The only thing people like more than a hero is to see a hero fall.

Kind of hard to do when you're litereally surrounded by negativity. =/

hmm... good news I are conditional resident of the US of A.. up to you if you find it good news or not but it's a good for me. I don't have to think about it anymore for at least two years.

I finally have my own rig in here and it has tons of blue lights. Just have to wait for my new HDD and I'll make it completely refreshed (since I am using my old HDD though I am not getting rid of my old one). I think I might post pictures in hard section soon.

Outdoor news... no idea what good news to post, don't see much.

Was invited to WoW: The Burning Crusade's closed beta testing, which as a huge WoW fan has been awesome.

Constantly beating my bf at Goldeneye for the n64, which to me is good news ahahaha
