Live another 100 years? You kidding? You know how frail you'll be? Im planning on dieing around 80 years old, thanks.

if average lifespan increases that usually means you don't mature as fast. lets say the avg lifespan today is 80 (guess) but it 100 years it'll be 160. that would mean that a 16 year old in 2106 would look similiar to what an 8 year old looks like now. This is all specualtion but thats most likely what would be the case.Quote:

I like it, it is a person's choice whether to live longer or not. It should be done for the people who are having organ problems at young ages as well...because stuff happens. Some people are born missing some organs and it could help out... It has a good intention so I am totally for it.

They say the human brain cant be regrown or replaced..which it cant(not because of religion, but because we only understand like...30% of the brain at the moment), and the BRAIN would reject organs and such. Adding new organs probably wont prolong your life, it will just get you some new organs. How do you think people die of old age? When I say that, I don't mean they die of organ problems because they're old. They just, pass in their sleep.
Even if you could regrow organs and live ABIT longer, I got 2 words for you. "Brain Death" lol. Won't live for as long as you think it will.

But this is talking about an entirely diffrent thing, replace organs really does mean people can live almost indefinately. If you could clone your body then put your mind into it, what would really be diffrent? You could normaly age to 60 then jump into a 20 year old you. Hell it doesnt even have to be a you, you could probably make the clone in any image you wanted. Which suits me, id love to see more Elisha Cuthberts running around :D

I wouldnt want to live that long in the world thats today. I want to die at a good age.... If lived till 400 or eve 160 I would kill myself. Freaking pain in the ass now how you think being that old would be like? Unless we are vampires or werewolfs, then I wouldnt mind living longer haha >.> *walks out room*
