[release] Kobold v2 (core update)

We have been working on bug fixes and more blizzlike implementations since the last release so this version should be a recognizable step forward compared to the last release in point of playability.
We are proud to present you another release of our work and we hope the community will again grow with this.

Well first off thank you very much for this. =)
Unfortunately for at least me personally it's mildly confusing. It has the kobold version1 db and then several updates. So if I understand correctly you must execute the version1 db and then change it to include the updates. I am certain it would be greatly appreciated if the whole db was completely updated. As a side note I personally didn't seem to have much luck with this.

Little problem.. when I try to create a character, I get an error saying something about replace to stuff failed, I updated the colum and it's not working?!?! It won't create any characters :punch: :punch:

can this core allow us to use lvl 255 yet>?

This update is concerning core only

Well, I got it all working. All seems GREAT! Some things aren't fixed but in the changelog it says they are..

Spell dmg does not work still >.<

The download as provided in the above link didn't work for me.

The installation is missing libmySQL.dll

When I located a copy of libmySQL.dll I got the following message during WS startup:

The conf files are correct i.e. they have the correct details to the database (I am able to connect to the kobold db via a test app using the credentials).

Actually, it is a working release. You have to set your config files (sql.conf, ws.conf) in your WS, LS, and RS server, it's kind of obvious what it wants you to do. So go locate your config files! All works great for me, just need a new DB :eek:

Guys why everytime that start up the world server it says that my db structure is too old? i run the wow server db it was included i nthe package.

Is this still limited to 50 players?

I ve been installed this kobolserverlite2 and found folder sql, sqlupdate1, sqlupdate2 (inside this there is : creatures_equip.rar, gameobjects.rar with different value with creatures_equip.sql 730bytes and gameobj_def.sql 1.25kb, gameobjects.sql 1.06kb inside the file rar, should I extract this and including it as update file sql?

any1 know how to make it successfully update sql file ? because its always error because its found there is same table sql when trying to update ?

any manual to do ?
for the 1st version I could not buy pet? is in this version available ?
