Hi PPL
this is the repack i use in my server... ver 1.12.1 and 1.12.2

what's new:
No need to updates, db is ready to use with ver2690 (thanks to bogie from hxxp://@@@.mangos-files.de u rulez)
Anti-cheat enable and allready configured
Mangos restarter included ( no more "already connected" errors)
Includes an optional script with portals to the major citys (thanks to GuANu)
almost ready to run. just download, install. configure sql, extract maps and play....

If u'r new to the scene here u got a small and simple how to:


1. Copy to 'MaNGOS\data' dir this files:
Dir_Where_is_your_wow_client_installed\Data\patch-2.MPQ
Dir_Where_is_your_wow_client_installed\Data\patch.MPQ
Dir_Where_is_your_wow_client_installed\Data\terrain.MPQ
Dir_Where_is_your_wow_client_installed\Data\dbc.MPQ

2. Run ad.exe
Wait when process is finished.


3.
a) Install MySQL 5.x server (www.mysql.com)
b) Configure the server by running MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard (found in your startmenu)
c) Follow the instructions.

3.1. Instead of mySQL u can install Wamp, but beware, by default wamp creates a open DB without password and that makes ur PC vulnerable to hack attacks

4. Install Navicat trial (or any another program for MySQL server management).
Navicat homepage: www.navicat.com

5. Create a 'mangos' database and a 'realmd' database
a) When using navicat, rightclick on the created database and press Manage Users.
b) Press and expand the root@localhost user
c) Select 'mangos' and press the 'set priv' button
d) Then press the 'Grant all' button
e) Press the 'Save' button to save
f) now do the same with the 'realmd' database. now your ready here


6.
a) Now Select you 'mangos' database rightclick and press 'Execute Batch File'
b) Select mangos.sql from 'MaNGOS_dir\sql'
c) Now Select you 'realmd' database rightclick and press 'Execute Batch File'
d) Select realms.sql from 'MaNGOS_dir\sql'

7.
a) Edit 'address' cell in 'realmd'database, 'realmlist' table.
b) 'address' to 'localhost' if your running the database and the server on the same PC

8. Edit mangosd.conf
Find line:
DatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;mangos;mangos;mangos"
Fill in your data:
DatabaseInfo = "mysql_server_ip_address;mysql_login;mysql_password;mangos"

9. Edit realmd.conf
Find line:
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;realmd"
Fill in your data:
LoginDatabaseInfo = "mysql_server_ip_address;mysql_login;mysql_password;realmd"

10. Run MaNGOS Restarter.exe
a) Note that if u changed ur mangosd.exe or realmd.exe u need to edit restart.conf, if not leave it alone

is that inclueding FULL PVP version (phyton script) with alltarec and warsong with no bugs ?
u can take the flag captue bases?

pvp's, alltarec and warsong running with some small bugs.. i'm trying to fix that right now.... but working.

as soon i get it to work i'll post the patch here..

i have a question for u ...
how can i make the warsong and alltarec to start with min 1 player for a team
and no with 40 players on a team to start?

warsong and alltarec with 1 player each side? why? thats too much map for too little player's... lol
just search in the db for the field and change it. i don't remeamber exactly what field it is. i'll see and i'll send it to u over pm later... in this repack i got it to start with minimum 6 players in each team

Found the following bugs:

1.) In stormwind NPC's don't seam to move around, the guards will not speak to you to give you directions.

2.) When you exit the tram for IF, It drops you through the world.

3.) When you sign up for WSG and enter the battle you fall through the world (this has happened twice to me).

4.) When you talk to the AV battle master (Only one is in IF SW dont have one) it takes you to wsg.

5.) In wsg you cannot pick up any of the flags.

Those are all I found so far. Still looking though as Im a bit new to this emulated stuff.

I downloaded and installed the file you posted as a clean install. Ran the stuff you had but still it does the same things so im not sure if its the emulator or what is going on. Aside from that it seams those are the only bugs / errors. If I need to do something to fix them please let me know.

Hey I downloaded and set it up but everyone gets stuck on logging into gameserver. All ports are forwarded. I am using a DNS would that cause problems?

DNS Might I am not sure.

I had the same problem. In Mysql I made changes to the realm list IP and changed it to my external one also I made changes in both of the config files and had them localhost instead of the loopback which a combo of those changes fixed it for me.

None of the people's logins show up on mangos.exe when I am running it over the external ip? Also I changed my mysql database ip to local host and 192.168.1.* but it didnt work both ways.

fixing it wright now. i'll add some portals to replace the trans. then i'll try to look at the source to see what's going wrong...

all i need is the battleground fix. you got a separate file/code for that ?

i got an error with creature_template , it writes that its updated and has too much something

I know it would be nice to be able to do the battlegrounds and have them working so thanks for looking in to this : - ). In addition to that I did find something interesting. When you make more then one realm it hangs at connected so I am not sure if it is a bug or what is going on.

Overall I think it would be the best if you were able to fix the battlegrounds so they work, the NPC guards in SW so they actually talk to you, the battle ground masters so they allow you to enter the proper battle grounds (I though it was funny you talk to the AV guy and he gives you wsg lol), The portal exiting the tram on the IF side however I think most people right now would rather have the battle grounds up and running : - )

I have a problem with the teldrassil map, do not work the transport to stormwind. like solution this. also the city of orgrimmar the NPC estan floating. by other this working well.

so, you got the battleground fix separately or does it just come with the full db?
