[HELP] mangosd.exe crashing (followed guide)

sorry if you get this alot, iv just downloaded this mangos set of files for the first time. and havnt really got a clue what im doing wrong...

mysql and navicat were already setup (i used them for l2j), i made the 2 dbs mangos and realmd and put all the sql files needed in there.

i configured the two .conf files with the following...

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;mangos"

root being both by password and username.

i run realmd.exe and get this...

i then run mangos.exe and it just quickly comes up and closes.

i know the mangos.exe is correctly connecting to mysql dbs as i managed to get a screenshot of it saying it had.

i have downloaded the maps, using Azzum'sRepackV1.0.

and have updated all the sql files for the latest revision (using script.sql)

i am currently using the latest revision...

ps. i havnt actually got wow installed yet (im still downloading it)

Go into your mangos folder and locate the Server.log file and open it up.
Let us know what error it is displaying in there so we can help you better :)

Your best bet is is in windows click on the Start Menu > Run. Then type command.

When this comes up type
Cd \
This will take you to the root. Then type
CD mangos

When that comes up hit mangosd
This will execute the Mangosd file and load it. When the error comes up instead of closing it will take you back to the command prompt so you can see the error. Just post what it is saying. Mine with the .5.1 database is saying something about the quest_template is out of date (Probably SQL Update) or something like that.

so basically i have to finished download wow client, use the ag.exe and get the maps that way?

Yeh :) Or download a 200Mb compressed maps folder and extract.
(I think it's 700Mb uncompressed)

thats what i did. but looks like the map link i download is really out of date.

hey, sorry for the bump, but its still giving me the same error.

iv now installed the wow client, installed 1.12.0 patch, installed 1.12.1 patch, used the ad.exe to create all the maps, and have put it across to the correct directory.

but its still saying an error about the map 0004331.map

any ideas guys?

not sure if it might work but just delete the map 0004331.map in your map folder :P:D
