Now may I ask why you want such an overpriced inferior peice of hardware? It sucks. Really does suck. I can't belive for my self why Sony would release such an inferior thing.

Wii is the future; PS3 is an upgrade to the past.
What about the x360? It's all about the Wii and PS3. But what about the x360?
Game play? Sure the Wii has unique game play. But what if you just like the traditional game play of a console? The x360 has some fantastic games with great game play. Sure your not as if you are swinging a real sword or pointing a real gun but if you like traditional console game play then the games it has is excellent.
Look at Gears of War and Dead Rising. Both are brilliant games with great game play. Don't argue that all Wii games will be the better game play then them because that just isn't true. And not forget about Halo. Halo is one of the top multiplayer games ever with an exceptional story. So saying Wii game play will be superior then all others is just fan boyish.
And no I'm not an x360 fan boy. I love the idea of the Wii but it's just not superior to everything else. It's good but not the best. It would have been better if Nintendo had a more powerful GPU and CPU to run much more intense games and support HD but it doesn't and it holds it back in some ways and the motion controller is good but it's not ideal for every game. Not to mention if you are not felling your best then you wont be able to play the games you enjoy as well as you could which will cause quite some frustration.
Also you can't forget about the fact that the x360 is more then just a console. It's a full entertainment system. You can download movies and TV shows right to it and watch them when you want. Much more versitle then the Wii.
And now for the PS3? It's totally crap. Sure it has a few good games for it coming out next year but that's it. And beyond that don't expect much as the newer games will just have a hard time running on the PS3 do to it's weak hardware.
You have a few great games coming out for it. GTA4, MGS4, FFXIII, FFXIII Verses. But that's pretty much going to be it. And out of those games how many will also be on the x360 with smoother game play and better image quality? All of them. GTA4 will be release the same day on both systems. MGS4 will be released on the PS3 first but just like all the others an Substance version will also be released on the x360 with more features. And FFXIII will eventually be put on the x360 also. Not to mention SquareEnix is planning on remove the PS3 support from future FF games as they want the graphics to be the same quality as the movie FF7 Advent Children and still have smooth game play. And that just cannot be done on the PS3 as it's not powerful enough where as the x360 can do it. So you are left to only 1 Sony exclusive and that's GranTruismo. Same really as the developers want to do things on the PS3 but it just holds them back where as the x360 wont.
And don't start saying the PS3 is superior by having a larger HDD, BluRay support and 1080p support. Because that all means real nothing. Sure it has a 60GB on the high end model but the x360 is going to have an 80GB and 100GB+ add ons coming in the next few months. The 80GB in which will be due out in December along with HDMI cable. And with the HDMI it will have full 1080p support. And even then. With the PS3's 1080p support it's just a joke. Since the PS3's GPU is jut not able to pump out a constant 60 fps at that resolution with current games and forget about it with up coming games that will be even more stressful. Also the BluRay is what is killing the PS3. If they didn't use BluRay and took the x360 approach and used a DVD drive with a BluRay attachment they would have been able to ship out just as many units if not more then they Wii but that's not the case now is it. Not to mention the x360 has an HD-DVD support for HD movies so it's no longer a PS3 exclusive.
And the funniest thing about the PS3 is the OS. Windows has always been famous for being a resource hog but it's the opposite. Sony's engineers have managed to make Linux use more resources then Windows. :icon6:
So people shot end this PS3 or Wii stuff is the best. As the PS3 is just plain out bad and the x360 and Wii are equal in their own respects and how they appear to the consumer.

I can't believe I'm saying it but right now the Wii is making me want it more then the PS3. Which I've been a Playstation fan from the start it game out (and I could afford it :P). It is true, xbox360 and ps3 are just upgrades to the past (like Ron said) while Wii is a new gen! Now if only they could make a mat that was kind of like a treadmill that people can stand on and move around in the game instead of the joystick. That would be the next big step.

NoPeace In my affirmation for Wii never did i imply in anyway that it was going to dominate the gamer market, that is a feat unheard and impossible in its poroptions. All im saying is that wii and 360 AND ps3 will all sell their games and console never the less but wii in my opinion will have the greatest sales based solely on its gameplay. Not to say that other consoles will not 2 dominate with games such as halo3 ,which i love or gt4 which looks sensational but Wii unlike its predeccor the Gamecube will stay in the heat and make sure sony and mircosoft are on their toes cos this time ....Nintendos getting out the big guns ^^
Wii is the future of more interactive gaming.
and x360 still holds the most game titles that you can play online in my opinion.
i dont see why people are saying its overpriced... the standalone blueray players cost more than the total price of the ps3, and it plays games ect... sure you could say "but why do you need a blueray player?" but when the DVD players came out we said the same thing about them. Fact of the matter is that blueray discs will be as common as DVD's so why not get a player that does much more for cheaper?
It's not about the graphics, it's about how long you can play games... most nintendo games can be played for ages and you still haven't passed it.Quote:
