Private server issue - Wrong Version?
I didn't wanna post up here and I've been trying to figure out this whole Private Server thing for myself, And dispite the many issues I've encountered, this ones just a curve ball for me.
I keep getting this issue when trying to connect,

I believe it says wrong version [my japanese sucks] But I know it's not unable to connect [I was getting that error earlier.] I took "Wrong version" to mean that the numbered versions were messed up. I checked in the following places...
Server's Hotuk.ini - 3096
Regedit // PT - 3096
Server's [Config] - Version: 3096 - 0
...but it occured to me that since the server's exes are called 4096 that that version might be the correct one. So I changed all of these to 4096, but I still kept getting the same error. They're back how they originally were since I made backups, but I can't figure out why this error might be happening. Still, I'm happier that it's this and not the "Cannot connect to server" anymore. Can someone help?
I'm currently using the DPT thing. I've added monster and char files, edited the stuff in sqlserver to have my name under dgameuser [Its "dan"], gotten past the odbc stuff, and read through prettymuch every thread in this forum. Even got Kohitsuji to look at my database and tell me it's set up correctly..
