[All] next-gen games dumbing us down?
I'm begginning to think this. If you look back in america in the lates 70's/early 80's the only games nerds would play was D&D, and you have to have some intelligence to play that game. Not to mention you have to literally use your imagination to see the dungeons, fight the goblins, and have drunken fights half-naked at a camp fire for the last piece of rind. heh good times :p.
Now games are so simple you just have to point and click your way through linear maps, massive mob grinds, etc. it's not really original after the third mod or so...
