RYL1 MY v600 All in one server & client...

Since ppl wont share i decided to share all my ryl1 files i been working just
that developing can continue and we see better servers in future.

This is not fully done package but contain most needed stuff

Download links (updated 15th april 07):
you need to download both to extract them.

General:
-Detailed Step by step guide to install and run server and client
-Files for RYL1 server pre made for easy installing and configuring
-Original and "starter" databases for MSSQL 2000
-Full v559 and v600 Monster and Item ID lists
-All ryl1 admin commands
-Guides to edit server scripts
-All Checksums for versions 557,558,559,600

Client side files:
-v559 original and custom scripts
-v600 original and custom scripts
-client files to fix certain things like invisible swords,masks...
-original and modified login files

Server side files:
-lotteryevent.txt files to support 559 and 600 versions quests
-Itemscript.txt files to support 559 and 600 versions
-Monsterprototype.txt to support all versions
-Chemical.txt to support all versions

yes but some might want host 55x server instead since 600 is little buggy so thats why i included 5xx files also.
major change between versions 559 and 600 is in itemscript where many items has changed ID & stats

well it's nice a stuff, but it makes the game buggy and unstable,
but there are many people that like to test new stuff ;).
that's why i'm not major editing my files also.

i also just release Level3 books in stores ;), if anyone need, go check Dream-Gaming Board , but remember no1 is allowed to repost it anywhere else without my permission.

serverside itemscripts for both versions should be somewhat fixed that they have correct stack amounts and stats.

i been adding and improving that package so i release final version somewhere before new year.

about lotteryevent.txt in my package...there is all "lottery type" items pre added and all alchemist related mystery boxes added to give right accessory up to +7 (in v600)
Also all giant gems are added to drop along with mystery pearl and teddy bear...rest you can modify yourself by editing lotteryevent file.

i check masks before next release but they was working for me...modded v600 misses couple important npcs what i will fix in next release so use 599 one since its working well...and you cannot add that gm look in ryl1 other than to npcs.

well i used the v600 then tryed v559 both modded and i dont see the masks.
u used both GM and normal code i can see in invetory but not ingame maybe u mixedup a place to put files? i put same structure as u posted in the release.

:o i not try start a flame war i jsut asking why we where called noob i understand that he copy ur work but atleast he shared i only needed help on masks and found this sry if made u mad i only trying get the holloween mask working since cib put it out and we dun got texture for it "i got testure but dunno the name" <got texture fomr this post starter>

all those 2 does in this thread is giving free bumps and gets more attention from ppl to download package lol...so ty ty

anyway it shouldnt matter where ppl gets modified mcf files, in this package or from private servers patch update files...both same way public to download by anyone.

i think someone doesnt fully understand meaning of word "greed"...sharing files and guides i been working since i started host server, just for helping everyone build better servers, doesnt fit under meaning of "greed"

But if i wanted to give someone credit by helping part of my stuff to get done, it wouldnt be anyone who already posted in this thread...he is someone who been helping here alot too and he aint any of those "greedy" foul mouth jerks around :P

and once again, i have not "robbed" any file from anyone (except from gamasoft and cib) all script modifications i have written myself including npc mods what are taken from my public server i hosted month or so ago, all guides i have written myself...i have not used anyones tools without permission (except ryl admintool :P)

but what is fact is that we all have "robbed" private files from ryl developer...dont we? and we aint complaining?

Its fixed...i added new link to main post for client fix package

So it adds:

-Fixes firecrackers which caused client to crash
-Fixes invisible pumpkin and scream masks (for both races)
-Fixes invisible 1 handed human swords
-Adds model from RYL2 (GM model)

I never spawned stuff for people I played with, in fact I didn't even touch those commands in game. Cept for some A jewerly (or hax'd jewerly). Shawnjohn made a pwn gun, so did many and that's without my help. You're saying I'm selfish and that I got own'd, but look at this. You ruined kron1x with your attitude (a big guild left), and you totally ruined rylunderground. You even tried to delete the databases of ryl 1 underground, but that didnt work as you planned, cept for the db corruption.

Keep it up like this Stealthy, really.

A big guild didnt leave i kicked them out for being spoiled brats and because they thought they where the people running the server.

I spend all this time and work just for them, the people who played the server and it never whas good enough for them.

Then if they start demanding things they are free to go.

looks like RYLU is messing with my v600 files without knowing what they are doing...scandinavia ppl remember how well puzzle quests and 7stone worked there since 1 ppl out from 100+ done quest, got somekind bug.

i was running v600 patch before i closed my server just to notice that 559 was best version so far ;)

all possible rings and necks are already in v559...only thing that v600 has is alchemist supporting upgrade to +7.
you can make desired accessories drop 2 ways...set them as event drops or set certain mobs to drop certain accessory (all that is explained in guides in package)...also modified v559 npc script in package has also accessory shops in aldia and opeiny selling +0 ones.
so read those text guides inside package and if you need guide for setting up event drops, follow the link in bottom of first post.

depends on server...high rate pvp server would be better with lvl3 book shop because then everyone would be able to join pvping easy but it still would require farming and trading to get level 4 books and mastering skills for final pvp build...and most ryl1 servers are high rate so it saves annoying farming and also saves bank space.

But ofcourse you can add, edit or remove any npc and shopitem with that mcf editor...

If you want low/midrate server with good economy, remove also level 2 books from npc and remove all coin drops from mobs...then players need to work their money and books :P

its also possible to make books and such to get from quests...but that you need to figure yourself...

Yes. I edited main post to fix link...i uploaded new package with some files added so its basically now got all my guides and files for RYL1 and also repacked all editors,tools,server files etc in one big file (also for RYL2).

So its 100mb total now...so if you missed downloading something from here, all should be in that package now.

you added arrangement files from this package? (\Server side files\Server Scripts\Arrangement)
They contain coords for those bosses like in arrangement8.txt there is lines:

first go to "control panel -> administrative tools" and open "Data sources ODBC"
and go to tab "system (DSN)" and click "add..."

hmm... i am dumb stupid... where i can find these "options"

1. i search the bosses and found the place but i can`t see the boss. it like invisible bos... they hit me till death but i cant see any boss around me

2. i made ring and necklace, it succedd but no ring / necklace i got.. my inventory still empty

3. client error after make giant potion.. any clue for this problem ?

1. what client you use? looks that you dont have GFX files for those bosses...though they should be there atleast from v556 MY version.

2. dunno if you got mystery box from alchemist(after giving pearl and accessory to him) and clicked it, you either received broken iron or upgraded accessory...also its not in invisible in your inventory? (possible client side gfx probem) or if you didnt receive it at all...check if that mystery box is in your lotteryevent.txt (it should be if you use lotteryevent.txt in this package)
Also check your itemscript from serverside...but if you seen pearl and mysterybox in game its not itemscript problem (atleast not in server side)

3. sounds also client side problem...make sure you use atleast v557 MY client version and also scripts from this package in server side...you shouldnt have any that kind problems.

recheck all settings, odbc, database, server side files..looks like there is something not set correct...it could be small typo somewhere so just check carefully.

I got to find that there is small error in my ODBC guide...i wrote to set "youxicard" as default database in File DSN but it should be "youxiuser"
But pictures i added in guide & my older guide tells to set "youxiuser" so if you wondering that and having any problems, check that your ODBC settings are correct.

i also got that same error using MSSQLExpress2005,
but it's okay now with MSSQLSever2000

Are there anyone have manual patch for my client v557 to 558/559/600?,
can't find any on the internet, share the files please.
while the auto patch from official is v604 now.
