Here is the newest guide that I made, this guide as well as the newest emu is/was up on November 28!
I put everything together in one file so youre not tempted to just download the emu and use it with previous maps because it will not work and you will get errors. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE GUIDE COMPLETELY AS IT IS UPDATED!

Installing The Burning Crusade:

1. First you need to have the current WoW (1.12.X).
2. Next, you need to set up a workspace, so create a folder in any directory named TBC or something close.
3. Open the Burning Crusade patcher.
4. Finish patching that, and install it by opening the Installer (dragon icon) located in WoW-2.0.0.5991-enUS-Installer, install that it in the new folder you made previously.
5. Now go ahead and open up the game without changing anything first and log in as a pass: a, and it will begin updating and patching, repeat this step until you get to version 2.0.2.6144 or until it says wrong username and password.

Setting up the Server:

6. Open MySQL, open it up, hit Next,
-Detailed Config; Next,
-Developer Machine; Next,
-Multifunctional Database; Next,
-Next, Decision Support (DSS)/OLAP; Next,
-Enable TCP

Error in the Database

can somybody help me and give me the right Databases for creature_loots and fishing_loots

all Problems with ....Loots.sql:chair: :death:

hmm, i cant find any working database for this server.
The one who came with the server just had a few queries, and if i use it i get this:

you are wrong in the one posted here there are mobs in starting areas tru there are an few but there are mobs ;) And in your post it is without mobs ;)

how do you fly with and flying mount :P

thnx for this great release...it's really interesting and fun to experience the TBC before teh official Blizzard release.

There are some issues i encountered ingame. Naming:
1. Chunky graphic and delay in Bloodelf starting zone [I've modified every video option aspect ingame...same stuff]
2. Flying mounts suck...even after the database patch.
3. Wearing a tier4 equipment on a rogue made logging in with that character impossible...had to delete it...unknown issue here.
4. Lack of a proper tool for the dbc databases [wanted to search out spell ID's but came out empty...even after searching the mangos db, IDs just don't match]

Well..'nuff said...But i'm looking on the brightside. Thnx for working on this release. Hope u manage to update it and post a list of spellID's, cuz

unfortunately u can't teleport any location the result is u stuck on the place can't move jump or anything and this also happens by entering the dark portal what should i do? :(

relog then you can move..

but dont logout with mounted up... then your player stuck on the mount and you need to delete it..


This full emu sucks....
I playing a Mage with full t3/4 gear and he have 2700 hp and 4700 mana and do lower dmg as my t1 mage on normal server... (+712 add dmg dont work)..
Frostbolt 13 = 1000 dmg.... only

The Skilltrainer must be searched over the world to skill everything, instead you can use lear all_myclass.. but this suxx.

Also no Dungeon is working... mobs dont spawn on right places... the + stats on much armors dont work also..

how to fix this all?

if you want a decent mangoes tbc server i suggest using Burning Crusade Database Project :: Log in the only problem i encounter was no flaying mounts but i think a patch can be made for it .
Etnik's NEW MaNGOS is missing to much stuff to be a playable server. calling for non existing maps wronge loots as well as many other things

I followed this tutorial and when i try to log in it gets stuck at handshaking and i do not know why.

make sure you're using the The Burning Crusades patch WoW-2.0.2.6108-to-2.0.2.6144-enUS-patch.exe

Please Where I can get all the package of mangos windows version for Wow 1.12.1, I search but I can't find it, please i need help with this

you've set your realmlist.wtf to 127.0.0.1? (others have to connect to your public adress)

link is broken. canntor dl from file front and sendspace always full.
please new links !
