Suggestion: Hide post counts
Well, my suggestion is that MentaL should hide the post counts to avoid criticism like he did with the join date. Keep it in the profile, but hide it when you post. Most people think when they look at a thread made by someone with a low post count; "Ohh that person is such a noob. His post count is too low. He should fuck off because he doesn't know anything.". I would rather have the post count hidden and the join date shown, if not both hidden. Post your opinions and vote.

It would be better if people didn't do it, but they do.
So for the sake of keeping the board less cluttered with completely useless flaming spam, I do think this is a good idea.

Sure it might help a mod determin if the user knows should know the rules or not. But that's a weak excuse. In all honesty. SHouldn't every member follow the rules? And not just people with high post counts or low. They all should be governed equally and not based on their post counts. And futher more it's the job of the mod to know who posts in their section and what they post. IF they can't do that without knowing their posts then they are not a good mod.
Also with what Beckeh said. Sure it shows who has been around here and stuck. But look at the fact anyways that most of thoes people are in speical user groups. Now isn't that enough to tell us that they are some how part of the community? Futehrmore it would be a better estimate if they just brought back the join date. SO you can know how long they have been here for and not just an estimate from post counts. Look at people like Sol and Neo. They have been here a hell of a lot longer then me but they have less then half the posts that I have. So that appears that I've been here 2x as long as them. Kind of a wrong judgement.
Also Kaoii I think it's the opposite on how higher posters are treated. Either they or a mod, used to be a mod or friend of a mod. And there for they are treated more lightly. Now if you are unknown and know no one and do something wrong. A mod wont let that slide and nail them for every wrong mistake. Don't aruge with me on that. I've known you to do it many times. I've known Ex to do it many times. I've known my self to do it many times. I've know that most of the bloody mods has done it. Simply because they know it doesn't it matter what happens to them as it doesn't effect the community so they do it to have the fun of being and evil dictator. That's how mods are. I've seen many of the Oranges spamming and flamming but never get in trouble where as normal users are banned on spot. So what you say is really the opposite of what happens. ;)
And RsX don't you remember when you was a Mu noob you used to suck up to people with more posts then you? I remember you used to suck up to me because I had more posts event though I wasn't a mod. =P So yes people do judge people differently based on posts.
And Rishwin you need to stop flamming randomly. It's getting old. -.-
