ok, its most liekly your ODBC not setup right. had the same prob when i first started, either that or your using the wrong client version. tell me what server.exe are yuo starting up on? 4096.exe kptserver4096.exe... which one? and if its anything other then 4096.exe you ahve to have client version 2331 , and if its 4096 that your running then the client you use has to be version 3096
