ok umm i just got my mangos database to work (finally)..anyways it says theres only 73 items? 0 creatures..? and like 0 of like everything else..and realmd.exe starts up fine but when i try to start up mangos.exe it comes up and closes really fast..and it says
Check existing of map file './maps/0004331.map': not exist!
ERROR:Correct *.map files not found by path './maps'. Please place *.map files in directory by this path or correct DataDir value in mangosd.conf file.

you need to get ad.exe and run it in your wow client dir and before doing this make a folder in there called maps , put ad.exe in the client dir and run it it will extract your maps into the maps folder then you just copy those to your mangos directory and that will server the 0004331 map problem. as for the db not having the proper entries perhaps you need to apply the batch file again to your mangos db and realmd db's
ok umm i just did ran the ad.exe in the world of warcraft file and made a made a folder called maps and ran ad.exe and it worked then do i copy the maps folder and paste in mangos directory..? cuz im still getting the same error..
i tried to batch those files again and mangos database handler still doesnt work neither does mangosd.exe and i used ad.exe and copy and pasted the maps to mangos directory..

I just got mine to work woohoo.
I have version 1.12.1 of wow installed.
I used the downloads from here and it worked:
Log In
I got the MaNGOS_2831 + ScriptDev_147 + MCH_1.5c + Anticheat_1.5 and configured it.
I downloaded the 1.12.1 DBC FILES and NEW 1.12.1 MAPS and put these into the mangos/data dir.
Then I used SQLyog to import the database SDB 0.5.3 *Changeset 20* 2806
Once that was done I ran SDB 0.5.3 *Changeset 24* - 2813 into the database as well as the DB FIX.
Then I imported the MaNGOS_2831+ScriptDev_147+MCH_1.5c+Anticheat_1.5\sql\scripts.sql and spell_anticheat.sql in that same folder.
After that I ran the last few updates in the updates folder and it worked. :worthy:
I also used DynDNS for my ip. I put the DynDNS addresses into my config files. I also updated my HOSTS file like so:
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.0.1 your.dyndns.here
Hope this helps you out because it took me about 100 tries to get it right.
