Christmas: likes/ dislikes.

What do you like and dislike about Christmas?

Best:- Presents (giving mostly but the tension you get when a present is about to and is opened), Family being close (whether it's just a love one or everyone), movies and/or games with people. Snow (when we get obv)

Worst:- Cooking the big dinner >.<, other reglion groups who put down Christmas just because they don't celebrate it, People who force Christmas on you because you can buy presents back in September -.-.

Note: if you don't believe in Christmas or don't celebrate, no flaming please, simply don't post.

Likes: Friends and family, being together, happy and joyous. Time of the year where you get a lot of good eating, too!

Dislikes: Making each other poor :/ Tis the season to go broke!

Best: Not much apart from seeing people happy

Worst: All the commercialized crap and greedy attitudes that it brings.

Best: ...Nothing, really; my family doesn't celebrate Christmas.

Worst: Another day spent alone?

Best - The foooood! :D Being with family, presents. The way girls dress at parties (i know.... i know....)

Worst - Making the food :( Buying all the presents

Best- decorations i guess, pretty light bulbs :p Tinsil owns and the nice trees.

Worst- towns are too busy, having to walk around people looking at cristmas displays anoy me. Ques in every shop, cant even look at the dam displays for people being there. Hense i like doing all my shopping online now :p

Best - Family being together, the whole jolly atmosphere. Presents. Food!

Worst - Preparing for it.

the worst - the same old crappy christmas songs that are on evry single year >.<

the best- spending time with family, no school

the worst-spending each penny I get on whatever is new (Getting my 360 today hopefully XD)

Best - week n a half off work, SNOW not that we get any, being with people i dont see often, drink, nice food, nice presents

worst - everywhere gets too busy, cold (yes retarded though I like snow and skiing, wasting loadsa dosh.

EDIT: I forgot all the great films (hope they put charlie & the choco factory on the original cos that prawns)

I don't find much special joy in christmas, instead I can't stand christmas carols, especially the ones telling about religious stuff that I don't believe in. People humming to the tune and singing along only because they feel it's the proper way to go about it, not realizing they're actually spreading the most popular fairytale, which isn't even a cute one.

Also I hate all the pretending and empty wishes for "merry christmas". Dozens of postcards, commercials, ads on newspapers, everyone wishing merry christmas to people they don't know and couldn't care less about, or whether they actually have a nice holiday or not.

i like how people can be nicer around christmas time, i like that anytime of year obviously but its nice to see it

Dislikes: School, homework to do, no money by the end, not enough time to enjoy the presents.

Dislikes: The fact christmas is so damn commercialized these days it nearly ruins it.
Furthermore, political correctness. You can no longer call a christmas tree a christmas tree. It's a "Holiday Tree", because to non-believers, anything with "Christmas" it in may be offensive. This is the ludacris conclusion the government somehow came to, rather stupid. Despite I don't believe in god. I feel our customs/traditions as it has been for years is being threatened. I see in no way how the term "Christmas" to a non-believer or someone from another faith could be insulting in any way, shape or form. Irritates the hell out of me.

Likes: Family, presents, vacation, having time
Dislikes: The rush to get everything done, crowdedness, calling relatives.

I started ignoring other religions when people started blowing shit up for a cartoon.

Likes: like everyone PRESENTS! :P family and friends gathering together
Dislikes: 1.thinking of a darn present ... i seriously get pissed off by that question every damn time ...
2. The fact that it is a holiday and just like every other holiday in this country it is an excuse for people(underaged too) to get dead drunk and piss off the poor nurses on such a nice day.(P.S. my aunt is a nurse, so yeah they do get pissed by such stuff.. )

i like it because it' always a fun time of year - everyone is happy and charitable.. plus ITS MY BIRTHDAY!! = D

2 good occasions in one super fantastic happy day!

dislikes: going to skool in cleaning after party n my ^bros^ bday n he gets more money -.-

likes - all the parties people throw before christmas
dislike - people get way too overhyped about it for no apparent reason...

I find it hilarious that you celebrate Christmas even though you don't believe in God. And, the government does this so that they don't offend anyone. That being said, I believe that religion has no place in politics but, somehow, manages to creep its faggot ass into the Supreme Court every so often. And the name "Christmas" comes from "Christ" believe it or not. And, some religions don't believe that Christ was the son of God, just a prophet.

Likes: No school.
Dislikes: Knowing that I have to go back to school after it's all done.
