I use XAMPP, and it works great...
You'll find him and instructions how to install and configure it in this topic:

The problem with using that is taking the DB and moving it to the new mysql. It took two and a half hours of importing. Do I have to do that again? Also, I prefer to use Abyss Web Server, it is much more user friendly.
no,
you are using witch MySql client?
MySql 5.0?
I just installed it within the last week, so I'd say yes. And remember the whole Abyss thing.
If you are using MySql 5.0 its OK, use it, its the best..
so you just have to install XAMPP with Apache, and set up a web server... the apache will use your MySql 5.0 DB...
to edit your DB use Navicat...

That's just it though, I don't want to use Apache. It's configuration it's complicated for me. Abyss Web Server is much more user friendly, and I'd prefer to use that. All I need is a PHP5 package that's compiled with MySQL support, and then I should be fine. Could you get on MSN, I'd like to chat with you about this, if you don't mind, of course
Actually, I think I have it working. I didn't install any extra services with that program, and im using the php for my server. MySQL using pages are a bit slow, but it works. Thanks!
