Well I got FFXII (Final Fantasy XII) for Christmas, and it's a fun game. But the battle system sucks. I didn't really like the turn base one either, but with this one you attack it, wait 5 seconds, attack again, and get hit like 5 times in between attacks.
Is there any way to make your character attack faster or anything, your HP just drains fast while you wait for your character to attack..
Level up. =P
At around 10-20 it starts to get really fast paced. Not to mention lots of fun. Once you get summons it'll be extreamly fast paced on killing.

Yup hes right, when i played that game a while ago i thought it was slow to but the system grows on you and when start vs'ing uber bosses it gets LOTS of fun cos like mentioned above the pace gets crazy fast
