How many out there of have a modded console and modded it ur self?
not got mine done yet, tho probably will soon... but modding it yourself? thats just stupid tbfh unless you know EXACTLY what to do.
HEH guess im a dumb ass cause i barley knew what i was doing but i modded my xbox and my razr v3m.
I mod alot, then sell it uasualy but i've currently still got hold of my 360 :) Had to use my phone because my cameras charging :)
Have a modded xbox, modded it myself, dad tried his and bricked it lol
What kind of modding you are talking about? Chip modding to bypass region locking? Or case modding?
One is easy to do (case) while the other is pretty hard to do (chip). =P
The only modding I'll be doing is maybe changing the x360's HDD to a larger one if someone releases the way of doing it. Since it's just an SATA drive it should be easy. Just don't know what file system it uses.

Any modding......
1. yo can softmod....if anyone needs me to explain it ask me.....
2.no thats not how it works the hdd needs to be locked with the original eeprom(i think thats how u spell it) so then the motherboard and chips will read it blah blah and it will have the extra space for all ur pirate M$ hating needs....i currently have the stock hdd and i have sonic riders on it.
Super modded up my gamecube, full media center now preety kewl ^^
kewl, gimme a week nd ill mod up my wii to be a media center too ;its much more easier do that then on a gc
You are forgetting something. The drive needs a partition to store files and if you don't know what the file system that the x360 uses then how can you make a partition on the drive so it can store stuff?
Useless just putting files on a NTFS drive when the OS only reads stuff from FAT32 or who knows what else. ;)

K, I don't really know much about consoles!
It's not consoles. It's basic knowledge of how OS's work with HDDs. =P
A PS3 and an x360 are basically computers. Hell you can install Linux on to a PS3 and use it like a normal computer. So applies to how computers work applies to how they work.

yer but u see u need the internet for that,
imma gonna mod it up so in my channels i will have a media center option no connection needed
lol why not make a ftp site on ur computer if you do it right it will only be local and you can connect with it still thats just another option....
Yer, but remember i wanna utilize the SD card capability in the wii, cos if my way of thinking is right, i wanna try to add user-chosen channels on the wii though i will need the help of some of my friends to make that happen
lolz well yer.. but remember im still doing it and i came up with a few problems when attempting to update the wii [i have to be careful as not 2 screw it up cos my waranty doesnt cover :P] but i got my holz on now so im devoting a good amount of time to it, oh nd i got my inspiration from this site its got lots of basic wii-mote hacking and some good tuts'
LiquidIce's Nintendo Wii Hacks: More Wii-Mote Hacking
p.s. yer i do wanna job at nintendo ^^
Ohhh I know a mod that I'll be doing if I ever get a PS3. That is a HDD upgrade. O.O
You can put any 2.5" SATA drive into the PS3 and it's covered by warranty.
So you can get the 20gb and spend $90 for a 120gb drive and turn it in to a 120gb PS3 for $10 less then the 60gb version. Pretty sweet.
For those who want to know how to do it. Just read the PS3 manual. =P
Or this: GamersReports
Best mod I've ever seen.
Also if I was to ever case mod the x360 I'll so get water cooled with a see through window. Now that's sick looking.

-.- server lagg soz double post
but nopeace I thought the 20 gig ps3 didn't have wifi enabled? or was it something else. I know it may seem a little off-topic but we've (couple friends) switched out a broken dvd player in the 360, though I'm not sure if it works or not. It was a teacher's and he wanted to play halo again lol. Not as hardware-intense as switching out hdd's and such, but I'm sure there's a way to switch out the hdds.
yea the 60GB has wifi built in... although if i buy a ps3 i would just but another cheap router for about £20 2nd hand maybe and just bridge it with the router i am using now... and use a cable to connect it to the ps3... their is ur wifi connection ^^ u just need a extra power socket... + if u got an 360 and a wii it will work for them too ^^
edit*
somthing like this but i will have it included wiv a modem so its like a back up router if mine were to fail :P
SMC SMCWEBT-G EZ Connect 802.11g 108Mbps Wireless Ethernet Bridge
Lol, I would love to see someone do that for the hell of it. I wonder if it'll cold bug or not. ATI GPU's typically cold bug due to the ring bus they use. So who knows. But would be kick ass to look at.
The 60gb has Wifi, memory card readers, and a chrome finish. Good for some but pointless for others, like myself. =P
And swapping out the x360's HDD isn't that hard. Hardest part is probably prying it off of the casing since it's glued in. I would gladly do it myself if I had the means of formating a blank drive to work with the x360. Would love to have a 120gb drive for it as 20gb isn't much at all. Not to mention if you DL HD movies they'll take over 5gb each. O.O
[QUOTE=deadly2003;1861823]yea the 60GB has wifi built in... although if i buy a ps3 i would just but another cheap router for about
what about thos wall socket plug things heard they use ur power lines as a network cable... and u get 54mbps they say...
