Skinning PHPBB2 to look like website

Hello,
I'm setting up a website for a friend. I found a template, ran it through dreamweaver, added the content. I uploaded PHPBB2. Next, I set up the forum. All right. That looks like its all set.

Now I'm working on skinning the forum.

How would I skin the forum so that it looks like the site, has its header, etc?

I looked at index_body.tpl for an example, but that doesn't have much information on the header and such.

Any help would be appriciated.
