Also my favorite game of all time isn't really a game but a series. The Final Fantasy series I love the most. FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, and FFXII I just love them the most.
After that it's down to basic RTS games for me. Star Wars Empire at War is a great game along with any Command and Conquer game. Also Company of Heroes is an ace game that I'll probably love for years.
Some other games that I just love are the original Pokemon. Played Red, Blue, and Yellow so many times each. Also Front Mission was a classic SNES game that I've played over and over many times.
And those are some of my favorite games.

Imo there is so many decent games out atm its very hard to pick, obviously atm most people would agree gears of war = awesome. But i'm telling you been looking at the lost planet vids and the online demo on 360 and its very good.
WCIII definitly, and any pokemon game. Although silver and gold were the best.
GTA:3 ftw.
That game basically invented full-on 3d action adventure.

favourite game atm is eiter FIFA 07, ( never really been into those kind of games but this 1 is awesome ), also I think that PGR 3 is amazing

Pokemon games ftw! The best you can get. I still have all of them including the first ones. You never get tired by playing it.
Shadows of Colossus is one of my favorites for PS2. There are loads of good games out there. I could probably end up writing 100-200 good games but those are the ones that are old and still worth playing.
Tell the turth, all the latest games suck, old school ages are better :) like FFX or Others ;) more games play and ideas done right :)
