Why is there a pirated copy of Windows XP? Doesn't every computer comes with XP or Vista? Those who have pirated copies probably live in trailers and can't afford a new computer from year 2000 (which is like 300-500 dollars USD)

Actually i think i used to have bootleg copy of xp. I think it was so i could change my 98 system to an XP system. soon after i bought a new pc tho.
Lets say if someone running Linux was to switch to Windows without having to pay. What do they do? Warez of course. ;)

Most of us build our own computer from parts, and if we can not pay for software we don't :wink:
windows prices are fucking over the top anyway; anyone who can find a proper alternative to that has all the right to do so imo.

Nope they dont and our computer did come with windows on the hdd after we put it together but it got infected due to firewall quiting when i was installing a new one so i had to reformat so i used scorpion xp...
Idk, i don't complain what i have, because i don't know anything about pc's.
I laugh at you nuklear :p. Linux and OS X are also on computers. Windows isn't the only os to exist.
